As you ascend the outer steps on to the spacious deck and into the retreat, the lower level enjoys a connected living, dining and kitchen layout as well as a main level bedroom. Prepare all your favorite recipes in the well-equipped, full kitchen (complete with a Keurig coffee maker and a toaster oven), dine together at the adjacent table for six (which can be extended to seat up to 10 people), and then meet up for movie nights in the inviting living area complete with two leather sofas and a wall-mounted flat screen TV. Additionally there is a washer, dryer, and full bathroom as well. Ascending upstairs, you will find the two additional bedrooms and the second full bathroom. Outside, gather around the firepit to tell stories, roast marshmallows, and spot the constellations in the clear night sky. The sounds of the river and the adjoining park, makes staying so convenient for groups and families. We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable. There were lots of fun toys for the kids and having the park across the street and outdoor chairs for the porch to watch them play was perfect! We also saw a bald eagle while sitting on the porch. What a delight! We enjoyed walking to the beach and seeing the sunsets. It was a short drive up to Astoria for all the fun activities there, too. The weather was great for early February. I do expect to stay here again. I would like to see development of the parking area with a walkway to the deck would be nice. I don’t really like to park on wet grass. The only reason I gave 4 stars on cleanliness was because we had to wash some silverware before we used them. Overall a pleasant stay. ##### David D. We enjoyed our stay here. There were four of us and we fit comfortably. The house was clean. Managers response time was very quick. The house was a short walk to the beach or golf course and only a few houses away from a delicious locally owned bakery. The house was perfect for our family gathering. We had a family reunion get together from 5 states. The house was well furnished with lawn chairs, sand toys and an high chair. It was wonderful having the washer and dryer. The location was perfect. We can’t say enough nice things about this property. It is literally 2 minutes if that to the ocean. They have the cutest coffee shop on the corner who serves the very best chai tea and they were super friendly. The view is amazing it over looks some water and there’s a tiny park right across the street. My only complaint would be the cleanliness. We asked if we could check in early and I was going to pay for it but they said no because it needed clean. 4 hrs after I asked for early check in they said we could check in There were towels in the dryer. I pulled out the couch bed for my little boy and it was so full of crumbs. There were socks under the couches. But other than that it was an amazing stay. They were easy to work with as well. To the owners please get more boy toys they were all for girls and my son was sad. lol. Thank you for wonderful memories and an amazing stay. We would love to stay here again!! ##### Brooke N. ANTS were the worst one. Upon closer review noticed ant stake in the kitchen window and insect spray in the closet. Had them on the kitchen counter several times and in the downstairs bedroom. Comfortable beds and furniture, but definite problem with a flaking recliner in the living room which had to be swept daily. We had gone to extra lengths to ensure there was parking for car and truck with boat. We were assured there would not be a problem, but the rules changed in the middle of our stay and we were told not to park in front of the house due to the HOA??? ##### Nancy A. Chicken is easy it was a short walk a long short walk to the beach but that’s OK. We initially wanted to stay closer to Seaside but it actually wasn’t that far with a nice drive and lots of shops on the way. The only reason I wasn’t able to give this at five was the fact that it was not really clean. I am not trying to be Karenesc”, or dramatic, but the floors were awfully dirty (yes I know they’re floors) upon our first day, and it was pretty dusty on a lot of the furniture‘s, there were also taquitos left in the microwave from possibly the cleaning lady, or the previous visit. There was also an ant problem. It’s pretty common in areas like this, so it wasn’t a big deal but other than that it was actually a beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The little coffee shop on the corner had great customer service, everyone was friendly the pastries were delicious. ##### Michael F.
