The couches also smelled like dog as well, I’m not sure if it was a pet friendly property. One of my friends had asthma, so it was quite irritating. Some of the rooms were remodeled and other rooms were pretty dated. We requested to have the cleaning fee waived, but the property manager wasn’t willing to waive it. The smell of this house was absolutely disgusting and they tried to cover it up with terrible air fresheners. Upon walking into the house, you’re hit with smells that include stinky dog, rat poop, and mold/mildew. The furniture, carpet, bedding, and towels were clearly not cleaned thoroughly. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and very old, they creaked with every muscle you moved. The carpet in every room had stains and smells, was ripping off the floor, and even had rat poop on them. During the night we could hear rats in the attic scurrying around and even some of the lights could not be used due to flickering which was probably caused by rats chewing on them. We were staying in this property with children and it was absolutely unacceptable. I would never stay here again and recommend that you spend the extra money to stay somewhere else. There are SO many reasons why this property is cheaper than others.
