Front desk staff definitely need to work on hospitality. Also disappointing that after renting a hotel room you're still required to pay $30 to park at hotel, that fee should have been better disclosed.
We enjoyed our stay - the hotel is within walking distance of the French Quarter, Riverwalk, the World War II museum and the Convention Center area. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was outstanding! I plan to stay there again if I get back to New Orleans! The room an bathroom were very spacious; it is an old warehouse so the room has no windows - so just need to be aware of that.
Classic hotel that gave us the feel of historic New Orleans. Unlike staying at a sterile Hilton or Marriot that is pretty much the same thing in any city.
Within walking distance of the French Quarter. So close to many restaurants, jazz clubs, and most everything in the heart of the city.
Quiet and beautiful room. The staff was very friendly and most hospitable. Will definitely stay there again the next time we go.
Staff very friendly and helpful. No waiting for elevators. Could have more staff for prime check in times. Restaurant/bar a little pricey and not too friendly as rest of staff. Clean and comfortable room. Maid service pleasant and friendly. Great location ! Tolley right there. Everything in walking distance and outlets stores next door if you messed judge the weather (Windy!). When we visit again we will stay there
We left the kids at home and ran away for a night. Caught a show at the Sanger, enjoy happy hour in the bar at the hotel and a late dinner. Walked to the theater and dinner in the quarter. Blackout curtains worked great as we slept late! Wonderful night away.
