The Inn at the front with seperate accommodation to the rear with parking was neat and tidy. The service at check-in was friendly and helpful. Our room which we would consider small, had a comfortable bed. The wifi was a little difficult to log onto as it didn't like our email addresses. Dinner was pleasant with friendly staff and breakfast which was included was also plentiful. Overall we would stay again if needing overnights accommodation.
Room was clean, bed comfortable and clean, nice hot shower, good complimentary tea and coffee, love the idea taking the little churn to the bar for fresh milk. Had a good night.
We only stayed here 1 night due to being at a festival close by. Room was clean, main bed was comfortable but sofa bed not so much. Tea and coffee facilities were great and bathroom seemed newly renovated. Breakfast available in the pub at extra cost
My single room was well equipped, very clean (except for the TV remote) with a really comfortable good sized bed. The area was quiet and I had an excellent night's sleep. I would most definitely stay here again.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
Disliked: Cleanliness
Good and bad bits
My room was lovely however the cleanliness let it down.
It really needed a good deep clean especially the bathroom.
The throw was covered in dogs hair, yes i had my service dog with me who does not shed hair so there is no way he would lay on that, just because a customer has a dog with them does not mean you pay high prices but receive a not cared for room!
Having said all this the bed was very comfy and staff were great and i will be staying again when visiting my family.
Very convenient location for golf at Hanbury Manor or East Herts. Easy access and parking and serves food on a Sunday night which is welcome as many places do their Sunday lunch spree and then close at night. Will stay again next year.
The room and hotel was very good. However room even with a fan and windows open was cooking. Would have helped if the towel rail was switched off. Breakfast service woeful poor staff overrun due to full hotel and large groups. Management need to ensure enough staff are employed our breakfast took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive!
Nice place to stay for an overnight stay. Room was clean, tidy . Both hotel & pub team were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Food choice for evening meal was good and very tasty. Breakfast- lots of choice, although unfortunately coffee machine was broken, but that didn't spoil things too much :) Would definitely stay again.
I have stayed at the Feathers many times over the years in various rooms, the whole place has had a complete revamp from the rooms to the bar, restaurant, and outside areas, could not fault a thing.
Will be back again.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a 10/10 review.
Th Feathers is a friendly local pub style property. Recently renovated. Great breakfast next door in the pub and great guy managing restaurant - known as the friendly scouser. Easy parking.
Nice pub, but some issues at check-in with missing keys. We ordered a starter in the restaurant which did not arrive. Service overall was slow but the food was decent. An urn fur hot water at breakfast sadly only provides lukewarm tea.
