"We recently stayed at the Gingerbread House (Gaspereau suite) and found it to be a charming spot with potential, but there were a few issues that made our stay less than ideal. Most notably, there was a strong mildew smell in the room from the moment we walked in. It lingered throughout our stay and made the space feel less fresh and clean than we’d hoped. "This is a beautiful property packed full with all the amenities. We had a group of 8 people staying (6 adults and 2 teens). Everyone loved the property and locale. We were in the area for a family function and would definitely return to this property again! The property is clean, spacious and welcoming. It’s beautiful and perfect for a mid-to-large group. The communication with Jennifer (host) was amazing. She’s super attentive. It was a great stay! Would 100% recommend."

"This property is misrepresented. It is close to the basin, not ocean, not swimable, states it accommodates 10 but only seating for 6 at table,5 on the deck, and not enough cutlery. No fans in the bathrooms, no screens on windows facing the water, sleeping was quite stuffy for summer trip. The deck lights were all broken and well as the deck railing was wobbly. The upside was it was close to Parrsboro for the Fundy Geo Museum, Truro for the tide bore and Masstown Market. "
