"Well kept, older modular home. The place grew on me. It was early spring so the straight was readily visible. The driveway is quite steep. We didn't have any trouble getting up but it not for the faint of heart. The gas grill was a great feature. Wifi worked well. We visited "Authentic Seacoast"/Rare bird brewing and had a great time."

"We absolutely loved our family three night stay at the farmhouse. The screened in porch was incredible especially with the rain and thunderstorm. The thoughtful touches through the entire house is so wonderful and really makes you feel at home. They really seemed to have thought of everything and were so lovely to check on us and were super easy to communicate with. The kids all asked to stay again next year and longer! "Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving."

"The house is on a small cove with beautiful views of the cove and ocean. The porch is delightful in the morning or evening. Quiet area, the road in dead-ends just past the house.
