    We were a little underwhelmed on arrival. With a name like "Lux Aparts", we expected an amazing space however after climbing three flights of stairs with our tired children and luggage, we were a bit disappointed that we have to make one of the beds up ourselves. Whilst the apartment was clean there was damage to the kitchen cupboard, marks on the walls and it just looked like it needed some repair. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly security guard but without him we wouldn't have been able to gain entry. Having booked the stay whilst already on holiday and no access to our email we were not aware that ID and a deposit were required. We simply wrote down the booking number as we had with other previous locations. We were able to sort this out pretty quickly but like I said if the security guard hadn't been there, it would have been much more difficult!

    Aside the initial hiccup at checking in, the stay was perfect! However, warm water for bathing was an issue in one of the two mornings we spent there. Overall, satisfactory

    Terrible service leaving me out of pocket

    The way you book this accommodation is terrible, I tried to book through their website which failed so I came through hotels.com my booking was instantly accepted. But the property called me to take my bank details over the phone which is find highly unprofessional as I’ve booked through hotels.com they took my payment and refused a refund even when I booked another hotel as I needed accom quickly that night to spend 40 minutes speak to a Farzanna who’s English was average and she couldn’t resolve any issues. She asked me to call my bank at 21:00. Banks are not open in these hours and they need to rethink how they take bookings

    Appalling rules

    Why are you never told you need SO MUCH id before you check in. They wanted £150 deposit, passport and a bank statement before I could check in ridiculous!!!! Rand hotels com to cancel it and they refused to. Even though I wasn’t going to be given access. I will NEVER stay here again and not deal with hotels.com either. This policy of telling people AFTER they book that they need ID is appalling and their staff are incredibly unhelpful on both sides.

    Booked two apartments - one apartment was filthy and bed had mites - ended with bites on my leg. The other apartment had no electricity and heating. The company not willing to refund the night. Ended up in another hotel to escape the cold. The owners are thieves and scam. This hotel is worth less than 1 star. A youth hostel is better than here. Trust me - DO JOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.
