"Lovely hotel. Room was clean and spacious. Check in was ok waited a bit but the gentleman was friendly and helpful with information. Unfortunately didn't sleep well wasn't entirely the hotels fault but other guests opening and closing shut doors all night only to find out they were setting something up in the middle of the corridor. So come to the morning when we had are bags and wanted to check out we had to walk down the steps."

"Six of us stayed at the Holmefield Arms as it was a convenient minute walk to a gig we were attending. The staff were friendly and helpful, we had a lovely meal in the pub before heading out. When we all got back to the hotel the rooms were very clean and comfortable enabling a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast was great in the morning. Will stay again if ever out that way. Thank you."

"The hotel is very central. We have a blue badge so had a reserved parking space, parking is not that easy otherwise. Checking in was easy but it took a while as there was only one member of staff. Our bedroom was very well equipped. The room was hot but there was a fan for our use. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The only downs were the wifi connection was very weak and the shower wasn't strong. Minor problems. I am very happy to recommend the hotel."
