The apartment has plenty of room for two people and an additional guest or child. Our host also had made the space very relaxing with special lighting, the plants and outdoor lanai, and a cozy bedroom with office space if you have to work away from home. Everything about the whole rental and check-in process was very easy and we were pleasantly surprised by how much bigger the unit was than we expected based on photos. It's tastefully decorated, we enjoyed seeing local art and authentic touches throughout. Host was always super communicative, friendly and made us feel welcomed. The check-in process was very smooth (door with a code). The place was clean and as described. It was a short drive to Haleiwa town. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach, and a short drive to Kaʻena Point State Park, where there are many hiking trails. There is also a very nice walking/running/biking trail that runs along the main road which we used daily for exercise. The place contained everything that you'd need to live.
