"Lovely maisonette. Bedroom, living room/kitchen, bathroom, very very nice. Nice to have DVD player too with a small selection of DVDs. Really nice touch the bowl of fruit, half-pint of milk, bit of coffee (no tea), biscuits and crisps. I gave it a 4 star overall, would have given 4.5 star if I could, would easily have been 5 star if: 1) Fix the potholes on the small road from Madley Plants (understand this is probably someone elses responsibility). 2) Shower doesn't stay in its elevated holder...

"Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way. Top Vowchurch Hotel Reviews

The Kings Head Hotel

The Kings Head Hotel

8/10 Good
"Nice, relaxing stay in the heart of Ross on Wye. Large room, on second floor accessed by an extremely steep winding staircase, which is what you’d expect in an old inn like this. Staff helpful and friendly. Food good and reasonably priced. Only drawbacks were the bathroom which with its sloping ceiling and steps was a bit hazardous and the carpark with its extremely narrow access that many cars would struggle to get in."
