The setting is remote and tranquil but Marsciano is only a short drive and has a number of good shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Gaetano speaks excellent English and was always on hand to help with recommendations and bookings as well as making sure we had directions to find the villa after we landed at Rome. We really enjoyed getting to know owners Gaetano and Clara, who built the house and who live in the smaller house in the grounds. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay another week. Highly recommended.
