"Only 3 really nice Hotels in VA Beach. Hilton is 1"
Came to VA Beach for quick Anniversary GETAWAY. Planned last minute. Got a good deal on the Room. Loved the Club Level Experience access to Lounge with snacks and Breakfast on the 20th floor. Very Nice view. Ordered Room service, enjoyed breakfast in bed. Had Dinner at the Restaurant downstairs called Catch 31. Drove down the boardwalk and saw the Christmas lights. Very good time all the way around.
The hotel is clean and beautiful. Everything was top rate from the Poole and huge jacuzzi to the craft cocktail bar! The staff was wonderful overall. If not for one bad experience I would have given the Oceanair 6 stars well over 5. I was in the jacuzzi and a very flippant maintenance man started spraying disinfectant in the water and actually on me. I asked him to please stop (it was very rude just like him) He came over to me and sprayed the substance on his own arm and said "look ill spray it on myself it can't hurt you". I said good for you he was totally obnoxious but I didn't let him ruin my vacation. It surprised me how one employee is allowed to be rude to the guests while all the others strive so hard to make things perfect. I'd love to stay again if he no longer works there. I even asked the girl at the desk who the maintenance man with glasses on was and she couldn't tell me for some reason.

We found a friendly staff. Our maid on the fourth floor was outstanding--very ready to help and friendly.
We like everything except the restaurant breakfast:
The breakfast food over the last two years has gone downhill. The eggs were overdone and did not taste like eggs. The grits had a gluey texture and like cardboard--little taste. Sausage seemed to be low quality and undercooked.
Staff are friendly. Tip Olivia who worked at the breakfast station since she was very nice and happy to help. Room was small but clean. Pool and hot tub need a good clean up. A very nice quiet stay with the Christmas lights right outside of the balcony. Would come back again and hopeful they will jazz up the pool area
The state’s largest city, Virginia Beach is known for the inviting stretches of sand that front the Atlantic Ocean. A three-mile boardwalk hosts runners, bikers, and in-line skaters as they whiz by the shops, restaurants, amusements, and many hotels along the way. The military has a strong presence here, too, with air and naval stations situated throughout Virginia Beach.
