Good location but the shower curtain had mold on it the sink was cracked and the electrical cord running from the TV was very unsafe running across the floor to behind the bed The staff was friendly

Staff friendly and professional. Old hotel but improvements have been made, new furniture, 2-room suite was nice. Mold on bottom of shower curtain was only complaint, otherwise, very clean.

Very conveniant beach access but super loud at night. Murphy's pub is just across the street with live music until late and the bedroom window faces the stage. Room smelled like someone smoked right before we arrived.

I stayed there Sept. 7th, and I do not recommend that anyone stays there until it is renovated. They have bed bugs. Room 301 my daughter and my fiance got bitten. It was 1:30 in the a.m. the office staff was gone. We slept in our vehicle, waiting for the office to open. Just hear management was allegidly on vacation, so there was no one who could properly handle the situation. Worst part of it all they have a no refund policy. How your establishment has bed bugs? I will be contacting Virginia Board of Health, I'll also be contacting Virginia's Better Business Bureau. I understand the rooms are cheap, and you get what you pay for, but damn BEDBUGS. I should've gotten a full refund. Also reimbursed for my laundry and the detail clean I got done to my vehicle to make sure we didn't bring back any bugs.

We had a really nice stay! It was at two minutes from the beach (walking). The motel was very nice and clean outside including the parking lot. There was still an old carpet though, so the floor should be renovated.

It's a walkable distance to most everything. The front desk person was polite when we checked in. However there was another lady there that was on the rude side.

Didn’t like that we arrived 4 hrs earlier than check in and were charged $13 for parking even though there were plenty of vacant rooms/parking. Outdated but felt safe and was pretty quiet.

No cool airflow to the bedroom. Living area has to be freezing to make back room ok. Room needs repairs and you have to carry dirty towels to office before you can get new ones.

I called as soon as i booked to let them know we traveled with service dogs. The owner immediately assumed they were fake and started telling me "i have tests and ways of knowing if they are real...". He never noted it on our reservation. We got in at midnight and of course called in twice earlier, once to let them know we'd be there close to midnight and once closer to update our eta. We got there to discover, they put us on the 3rd floor with no elevator! We asked to be moved downbut were told to speak with someone in the morning as she couldn't do anything about it. In the morning, the owner tried to cover up that he had spoken to me about the service dogs and had my children come in with the dogs to the office so he can test the dogs. He asked for paperwork. He asked why they need them and what disabilitythey have. He asked all these questions that he's not supposed to ask. When we called him on it and even showed him the ADA rulings and Virginia laws he backed down. He really didn't want us there. He also said he couldn't move us down to a lower floor. He even charged me extra for my 16 yr old son! (I'm a single mom...) and then he had the nerve to charge me an extra $100 after we checked out for no apparent reason! We gathered all the garbage into large garbage bags and the dogs hadn't ruined anything!! The owners are just very money hungry.... he's got car's parked like sardines and has the audacity to advertise $10/day parking to outsiders wanting to go to beach!

ON OUR WEBSITE IT STATES THAT THE PRICE YOU PAID WHEN YOU MADE THE RESERVATION COVERS 2 ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER. ANYTHING MORE THAN THAT IS A FEE. YOU REFUSED TO FOLLOW THE HOTEL POLICY WHEN YOU CHECKED IN, GIVING THE FRONT DESK WORKER A DIFFICULT TIME. ANYONE CAN COME TO THE HOTEL AND SAY THEIR PET IS A SERVICE PET. YOU HAD NO WAY OF PROVING TO US THAT YOUR 2 PETS WERE SERVICE ANIMALS. BECAUSE FUTURE TENANTS MAY SUFFER FROM PET ALLERGIES, THE WHOLE ROOM MUST BE SHAMPOOED AND DEODORIZED. DOG HAIR WAS EVERYWHERE IN THE ROOM WHEN IT WAS INSPECTED UPON CHECK OUT.

No small boat parking
Paid through app knowing its non refundable. I towed a small fishing boat. Couldn't park anywhere. The picture of the parking lot seemed adequate which is misleading. Never checked in. Went to motel 6 to sleep and park.

The Hotel Policy for cancellation policy is 72 hrs, which is stated in our website. Parking lot is not fit for oversize cars.

Pictures on the internet were not accurate at all, floor was tiled and full of sand. You couldn’t walk on the floor. Then there was a cigarette hole in our comforter, burns on the furniture. We didn’t get our room cleaned the entire visit nor get fresh linens or towels. The hotel had little to no insulation you could hear all of the street and parking lot traffic. Staff was polite though so there’s a least that.

We did not get to stay at this establishment because my husband’s name did not match my name on our credit card! We are married and share all cards I’m so mad. We shouldn’t have been allowed to make the reservation if this was a problem from the beginning. Poor communication!!

Dear guest sorry for the inconvenience caused due to name mismatch on the reservation you made and name on the credit card you submitted for the payment. By law we are required to have payment fromthe same person who made reservation and therefore name on the reservation and name on credit card must match. We take this precautionary step for the security of the credit card to whom ever it belongs to. Also it clearly states on all the websites that name on the reservation and name on the credit card must match in order your reservation to be valid otherwise it would be canceled. Also after you made reservation we tried to contact you and sent you several messages to update your credit card/payment.
