Spending a night at the Red Roof Inn
The hotel looked well kept and the staff where extremely helpful and polite. The room 149 that I stayed in was carpeted and the room had a strong smell of milldew. The smell faded once the AC was turned on. The carpets looked very old and dirty. My dog spent the whole night chocking, similar to an breathing attack and I was very concerned. There must have been spores in the carpet that effected the dog's breathing. The following day, I too became sick too (my throat, eyes and nose was running. It took three days for the dog to stop chocking, it sounded like she couldn't clear her throat and I was having all shorts of problems. I developed puss in my eyes and required drops to clear them up. The rugs should be removed from the rooms. Tile or wood floors are much better for cleanlyness and they don't collect spores and whatever else there was inside the rug in the room.
