I am very upset with this hotel. The story goes like this: First of all, I made an error, I admite it. I was looking for an hotel in Viña del Mar because we were staying there from June 23rd to June 24th. It was absolutely my fault that I booked the wrong date (July 23,2019), so I decided to contact Expedia to see if we could make a change (we were not expecting to do it as free, we were going to pay if it was needed). Expedia’s Customer service was incredible, patient, and gave an amazing service. They told us they were going to contact IBIS Hotel, but they got no answer. I called Expedia almost 5 times in a day for almost a month, and they have gotten no answer. When IBIS finally answered, they told them that they would not make any change, that we were responsible for that money WASTED. IBIS gave us two options: stay that night we’ve accidentally booked or gave it to another person. I was ashamed and angry because we lost almost $200. Fortunately, we found an Airbnb to spend that night. Obviously, I’m not EVER going to stay in another IBIS in my life...HORRIBLE SERVICE.
