Although not a high end hotel, it afforded comfort & convenience. The room was small but beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small but it had all you needed really. For the price, this place is great for a good night rest along your way to somewheres!

Economical & Comfortable as you would expect from Premiere Classe. Wifi was unavailable in the room Other thing to note is the bathroom is way too small and water spills everyone after shower. No floor mat provided to absorb the water.

The property was in a convenient location for my stay. It felt a safe area and was easy to find. My only criticism and I've stayed in several premier class hotels, is that the pillows are very small.

Good location for us. On a busy road, but was well insulated so not too noisey. THe pillows were only half the size of a normal pillow, really not worth the few pence per stay it would have cost to have a proper pillow.

Stop Over before Ferry
Hotel was very clean , comfortable and good value for money. Nearby facilities are very good as in access to the main road network. Plenty of parking and night security with coded gate. Used by local tradesmen who were all very polite and helpful

Was good value for the money right next to McDonald’s and Other shops we went to a cider distillery and a nice harbour side town with an expensive but nice market

Very basic but good
We arrived late, so we had to enter through a closed gate. At first it appeared as if we had to check in via a self service portal at the gate, but the self service didn’t work with a hotels.com booking code. We then called the number and all was arranged fast and polite.

There is a McDonald's and a supermarket nearby so the hotel is in a very convenient location. And the rates are very affordable!

Good access by road and bus.
Long walk from town and station.If arriving after 9pm make sure you have confirmation number and credit card as no staff on duty.Room simple but comfortable. Sent 3 messages in week before but no reply.

Overnight stop for a family 4 in one room- it was perfect. Good car park, clean and enough room for us. Did read the reviews and had a spare pillow but could not complain as was great value for money. Would recommend and stay again

Great for Caen Ferryport
We have used this hotel regularly for some years now. It is always clean, convenient and cheap. All the lights may not always work, and sometimes the shower head falls off the wall. So what! Bring your own kettle to make a cup of tea, and enjoy excellent local shopping and restaurants before getting the ferry home. ( n.b. Intermarche and carryfour, second exit on Caen road, are open Sunday mornings.

It was fine as a stopover after a ferry crossing to break up the drive down south. It was a basic family room but was certainly sufficient for us. The area was on a retail estate so great for nipping to hypermarket and grabbing a bite to eat. But there was a bad smell in the room which did seem to go for a bit. But came back again, reckon it was the drains/plumbing as it was that sort of smell. If my French had been better, I would have flagged it up at reception. Breakfast was very basic for 5 euros each, not a croissant in sight! Just bread, yoghurt and a hot drink.

double check your booking!
Nothing wrong with the hotel or the location but the booking was not correctly reserved from the booking we made. Upon arrival it took an hour to sort out with a particularly unhelpful receptionist ( the middle aged afternoon and evening lady). Check that your reservation made through Expedia matches what has been reserved with the actual hotel!

Did not stay overnight. After seeing mouse on 1st floor and 3rd floor full of smoke where we were booked to stay, we left. There was no staff there as it is self check in, hope to get money returned.

Very unhappy with stay. No WI-FI information in room, and as we arrived late we could not log in. Next evening I asked the manager for the log in codes just before she rushed off, and when I entered the codes they didn,t work so for the second night I had no internet access and having a business I needed to read my e-mails, so had to visit local Macdonalds to do this. Toilet seat in tiny shower room was completely broken off so obvious but not fixed. I will never again stay in any of this brand of hotels agin, Premmere Classe, they should be sued under the trades description law!

One of few hotel near Basilica of St. Therese
The hotel room was slightly bigger than expected for the Premier Klasse chain of hotels although the bathroom is still very small. It was located near the Basilica of St.Therese of Lisieux and had free car parking. Easy check-in.

" Excellent" ? ... what planet are you from ?
"Excellent" ? ... I wish I'd read all the reviews instead of just the headline. This hotel is fine if the alternative is sleeping in the car. If, however, you want a room where if you want to swing a cat without it going into quarantine, this not for you. To quote Les Dawson : I turned out the light and was in bed before it got dark. The WiFi only works in the reception area, not in your room, and even then drops out every 3 minutes. The hotel is on the edge of a giant L'Eclerc car park with the only thing in walking distance : a dreaded McDonalds 'drive-thru'. The mattresses are un-sprung : more thick foam pads. The bathroom is a pre-formed plastic pod that echoes and leaves those in the room with nothing to the imagination. Oh, and don't expect eccentric luxuries like a mirror in the room, or one of those posh hairdryer thingies ... we are talking BASIC here. As in most things in life - you get what you pay for. There are no bargains to be had here. Life is too short to stay here again. If you have any soul at all, do your self a favour : invest a few quid more and stay in a proper hotel. Nomandy is enchanting and deserves better memories than this.

Fantastic value for money
Taking the price into consideration this place is fantastic. Don't be fooled, it definitely is a one star hotel with all that follows and I would most certainly not recommend it for longer stay, but everything worked well including the free wifi, which I've had worse at 4 star hotels 10 times the price. The rooms are small and the bathroom reminds me of a caravan toilet/bathroom, but it was clean and had everything needed for a one night stay-over. Again, taking the price into consideration the breakfast was surprisingly good with fresh bread, etc. I would definitely consider staying there again if I'm in need of a cheap hotel room for one night.

Great family room
The family room has a double bed plus 3 single beds which makes it a great option for families of up to 5 people at a great price. Offers bigger breakfast or you can choose to go to the Macdonald in front, also near a big super market. Minutes away from saint Thérèse basilic and from the nicest beach resorts of the area.

I wasn't expecting quite how basic this hotel chain is. Our son's bed was literally suspended over the head of our bed, not very reassuring. The bathroom is an all-in-one plastic moulded cabin with the toilet 3 feet from the shower. The window was tiny and the room small. We couldn't face sleeping here and went to the Mercure next door - twice the price but worth it. Good points - it's cheap and looked clean, and well located next to the motorway. But unless you're on the lowest of all budgets, go for an upgrade.

Perfect overnighter
Driving to the west coast, we chose this as a midway point to rest our heads. Small, but functional rooms. Very clean, easy to find. This is a very basic hotel, but exactly what we wanted as we simply used it to sleep. For £50 to accommodate the four of us, I can only recommend.

Staying at Lisieux
We stayed two nights to get over the journey from Salisbury to Folkestone then to Lisieux. Well worth it a bus goes from outside the hotel to town & with a cathedral & a bastille within walking distance plus some very modern shops it's worth the stop over. There is a Macdonald's just outside the hotel but make sure you can speak the lingo as there are not very helpful. Breakfast is available at 4.5 Euro each as much as you can eat.

This is essentially an airport hotel, that's not near an airport. It is in a very industrial area nit near any restaurants or places of interest. It is also hard to get to unless you are travelling by car. I was quiet disappointed and happy to leave after 1 night.
