Hotel is situated centrally in Vilnius next to Old Town and is in a period property around a pleasant quiet courtyard. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and well maintained. Lovely hotel that I would be happy to recommend.

It is good location of hotel, friendly staff. My room was very hot, conditioner was broken, all day and night needed to stay with open window, just to get some fresh air, but was very noisy. Floor carpet was unpleasant smelly. I had asked to change the room, but they did not have any free. Asked for discount then, receptionist offeted me ten euros... :) We were tired after airplane journey and there was no rest in hot smelly and noisy room. Next night we moved to another hotel.

Book at your own risk
The front desk needs to be trained. I am a Gold member and was entitled for a 2 hour late check-out but I had a long discussion with the front desk about this. If your room is by the road, you will definitely hear the cars. There were ants in the toilet.

Great place
Beautiful old hotel which has been refurbished beautifully. Very kind staff. The restaurant is amazing! Try their steaks- they are top class and cheap. Only down points were we didn’t get a room with a view as we booked.

Nice, central, average - good value for money
Was a nice stay. Fairly central location. Room average and ok for price. Service very good and very quick to reply. Only negative thing was that room was a little loud and room cleaning never came but otherwise nice stay.

Great Vilnius Hotel

Its the second time we have stayed at the Mabre and loved everything about it. I thought the breakfast was good perhaps more fresh fruit and ordinary yoghurt would have been good. I didnt like the coffee but apart from that it ws all good. The reception staff were very very pleansant and helpful. The positin is also very convenient for sightseeing.

Good check-in from then down hill very fast,
Extremely dissapointing,asked for a double bed got two single beds put together. No service or seating for breakfast,and condescending front desk girl, Set a bad precident for my first night in Vilinus,absolute appalling behaviour and service for a five star establishment. As a seasoned traveller who spends up to eight months a year travelling the world and staying in hotels this hotel is right up there with there with the worst experienced in my travels. There is service in hotels and hospitality and lip service I got plenty of lip service. After 24 hours of travel who can't supply a double bed and breakfast as advertised maybe this hotel has to take a long look at its current management. Just for the record I am gold member with hotel.com and been involved in hospitalility for nearly 50 years at the highest leve.

What a wonderful hotel to give travelers a unique, old world experience with today’s services and amenities! The staff was very friendly and helpful while not being intrusive. The restaurant and the breakfast buffet are excellent. The hotel is in the footprint of a 500 year old monastery inside walls accessed through a gate. There is a very lovely garden in the middle of the circular drive. IMPORTANT: The front desk is staffed 24 hrs contrary to what Travelocity reports. Part of the old world charm is that the rooms still lock with keys that you can leave at the front desk and retrieve instantly when you return

Not a four star hotel
This property might pass for a two star hotel. We checked in and the room was musty and facility run down. It was all down hill from the dirty entrance carpet. No sense of a historic building or any charm. Good place to stay if you have pets. Only positive: Hotel was accommodating and allowed us to cancel our reservation.

On entering the walled courtyard our first impression was “ lovely hotel “. Check in was quick and efficient and we were given a complimentary upgrade to a lovely room with a furnished balcony. The room was spacious, spotless, had a huge bed and a beautifully tiled bathroom with fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries, a deep bath and shower. There was a tray with tea and coffee making facilities plus a safe along with ample storage. Doors leading to the balcony that overlooked the central courtyard were secure and the garden, outdoor dining areas and terraces below well manicured. Breakfast at the Hacienda restaurant was very good with a comprehensive choice of hot and cold buffet food and evening dinner was delicious ( I can recommend the stroganoff). We used the sauna and pool for which there was a charge of €20 per hour however it was totally private and dressing gowns and slippers along with bath sheets were provided. Well worth the price. The hotel was quiet and within walking distance of many attractions ie: cathedral, castle, Uzupio and the lovely cobbled streets of the historic old town. Staff at the hotel were very knowledgeable about Vilnius and pleasant and efficient. On returning to our room on the last evening we were surprised to see a box of chocolates and Prosecco with compliments from the hotel acknowledging our anniversary. They really did excel in making our trip to Vilnius a fabulous occasion and we’re already planning to revisit in the future.

A very nice place to stay!
Lovely room with nice view of Church of St. Michael, great central location and reasonably quiet with respect to outside noise (no other guest noise that I heard). The shower set-up was a little... odd, and the hot water in the morning was occasionally challenged, but it's an old old building, and ended up fine. Only had the breakfast once, it was a fine buffet. My friends were two blocks away, so the location was excellent, and the price was quite reasonable. Good job!

Good Location
Simple, basic room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and very good breakfast. The hotel is in a compound and thought charging for car parking was a money grab. Excellent location just within the old city.

Best hotel of our entire two week European vacation. Spacious and comfortable room. Fantastic staff. Spacious,park like grounds. Friendly and customer service oriented staff. Great free breakfast and top notch restaurant on site. Highly recommend this hotel and Lithuania in general!
