Wonderful Hotel
This hotel is very clean and the staff is amazing. I also loved the breakfast and the Degas ballerina decor.

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, good breakfast buffet. I liked the location of this hotel on the Plaza San Juan. Plenty of bars and cafes in the neighbourhood. You're on the edge of the tourist area and its still easy to find parking on street. There are also some nice green spaces nearby. Salamanca itself is a beautiful old city, full of surprises. I will just caution against room 118 which, being above the breakfast room and near to the laundry, is not as quiet as you might like.

Great base in Salamanca
Really comfortable place to stay in Salamanca. The staff were really friendly and helpful to us during our stay. We used the hotel as a base for exploring around the area and they were happy to store our luggage for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Excellent hotel close to all sites in Salamanca
Clean and friendly to this solo American ttaveler. Highly recommend this hotel. Close to several exceptional restaurants in the Plaza Major Square. Hotel staff was courteous and helped even tho i speak very little Spanish.

Ok. But I could have chosen a better hotel in the area. It didn't have the facilities my very cheaper hostel in Madrid had. Ie coffee..tea making sevice.Bed not very comfortable. Tried breakfast very limited. Best thing about place was bathroom ..spacious and location good.But loads of hotels nearby were better.

Amazing value for the price that I paid. Great location, very close to Plaza Mayor. The hotel lacks character, but that is not what I was looking for. WIFI great, AC great, very large room.

Well placed hotel for walking around Salamanca. Comfortable room and excellent buffet breakfast. Staff very welcoming and thoroughly helpful at all times. Staff recommended restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay here again if in Salamanca.

The hotel is a great facility within close proximity to town. Some may find it a bit far from the center but it is just right and guarantees a quiet night’s sleep. 10 min walk from most attractions with large and spacious facilities. Breakfast should be included for the price! Love the candies & chocolate touch!

The hotel has a good location as you can walk to the plaza Mayor in a few minutes and all the other points of interest.. The room is spacious and clean . Air conditioning worked well but as it’s getting a bit colder I could not switch it to heating. The WiFi worked well most of the time. I think it’s a bit noisy in the hotel as you could hear running water from other peoples bathrooms. The breakfast was good value. The young woman on reception was very friendly and helpful .

I have always rated this Hotel mainly due to location. However there was a problem this time. I had booked 2 rooms, one for my daughter for her and two children (11 & 14) which included an extra Bed. Breakfast was included and pre-paid. On checking out I was informed the room was a double and we would have to pay more. We booked a double with an extra bed and breakfast for one adult and two children. The female receptionists (slim with glasses) attitude was a disgrace, she was having none of it, would not listen to me all she could say was that her records was for only a double room. I pointed out my confirmation but she wasnt having it. She then said we could go and she would charge my card anyway. At this point I am livid and insisted she ring Expedia and I insisted she did it now. During the conversation, it was clear their opinion is the same as mine, although the receptionist was still arguing. Expedia confirmed they would settle. receptionist still insisting her system was right and couldnt accept the Hotel or the receptionist had made the mistake. No word of apology and still quite stroppy - Not her fault attitude. I am reviewing my booking in August and am not booking at this Hotel in October.

I lived in Salamanca for a year as an exchange student at the university. I remember how expensive it was on my student budget to sit at a cafe in the plaza mayor. This trip has been amazing! Staying in nice hotel, eating in nice places, and having a drink in the plaza mayor every night! I’ve come a long way since I was 19. But this hotel was awesome!!

Pretty good location. Close enough to sights and restaurants. Easy access to station, walk or taxi. Room OK but choice of light grey laminate flooring a big mistake as it showed all marks and dirt before the daily clean. Building and decorating work in progress so quite a lot of noise at times, but if this is improving the hotel it's good. I think that the reception staff or management should have warned us/apologised about it.

The location is great, the staff is great, the room was very nice except for the fact that it had to be 85°F inside even with the windows open and the beds were only slightly better than sleeping on the cobblestone road in front of the hotel. Other than that, I highly recommend it!

We ended up in Salamanca completely by accident due to an incorrect booking but was very happy when we got there the hotel is fantastic the staff very friendly great location very close to the heart of all Salamanca and the area was absolutely stunning happy to come back

We didn't like having to pay an additional E12 just to park the car overnight. If you are not driving the hotel is fine. If you are, look for a different one.

We are very sorry for you to pay 12 euros for a guarded parking place, but right in the center of the city all Hotels parking are with charge. Yes, if you don't wish to pay for a parking you should drive about 800 metres from the Hotel or look for another Hotel outside the city, but in that case you should pay for a taxi. This hotel was on a cute little square with cafes and so close to walk to plaza mayor, house of shells and other sites. Great area. The shower was a bit small, but generally the room was ok.

Great location; easy to come and go
I lived in Salamanca for years, but I haven't been back in awhile. I was a bit nervous to stay in Plaza de San Juan Bautista as we used to go pre-drinking there because it was cheaper, but it was fine. I had no problems walking back to the hotel even at night with my daughter. It was quiet, we came and went as we pleased, all the taxi drivers know it by name, and it's less than 5 minutes walking from the Plaza Mayor.

The hotel is very well located and easy to get to. The air conditioning was wonderful, which was a must in the hot weather. Rooms are not very big but still comfortable. Everything was very clean and beds are very good.We had a balcony and it was great.

The hotel is located close to main landmarks, restaurants and. Shopping area. Not suitable for elderly or the disabled because of not having an entrance ramp. Difficult to bring luggage in because of front stairs.
