Friendly and location
Very friendly and professional staff. The hotel is located in beautiful surroundings and I really enjoyed the gardens and forest. Food was amazing m. I will definitely come back.

Great (organic) , cosy park and close to Legoland
Cosy location with park and small stream. A bit of the road but still less than half hour from Legoland and Lalandia. Grill buffet and the breakfast was great and lots of organic and locally produced ingredients. Ask for a room with park view though as some of the rooms are quite small. Tiny bathroom even in one of the biggest rooms. Great service and lots of cost space to hang out.

Great hotel but meals Pricey!!
Great hotel we had connecting rooms for us and our son. No tea or coffee facilities in the room which is a shame but you can ask for a flask of hot water. You do need to have a car to travel from this hotel too as it is isolated but is a great base if wanting to explore Billund (Legoland, Lego House etc) as thats 30 mins away by car. Breakfast was ok but not much choice for little ones and the meals in an evening were very expensive from a set menu and very a la carte and took nearly 3 hours to serve so we only had a meal at the hotel on the first night. Overall though the hotel was ok and did what we needed.

According to tea and coffee in the room - it will be implemented in all our rooms during the fall. So next time you and your family visit us, you can expect tea and coffee in the room. We are sorry that you have experienced a long wait in the restaurant - it is not normal, but we were very busy due to a number of parties during that period. Our kitchen follows the seasons and the food is made of local and mostly organic products - why we in 2013 got the Organic Food Brand in Bronze - which is also reflected in the pricesn in our Restaurant. Love Skarrildshus. 0 carbon footprint. The food is locally sourced, and the breakfast even includes the oellebroed that my great grandfather, Frederik Lausen, had every morning. Everything felt luxurious and the staff went above and beyond. The place has an amazing collection of art and mid century furniture. The gardens are beautiful, meticulously kept and make you feel like you are in a fairytale.

Nice place to stay in the middle of Jutland - DK
Nice buildings, nice area, nice opportunity to enjoy the nature/park around the area and forest - the rooms we had was a bit simple but with nice beds (not the kind of room you would like to spend your hole weekend in), very good parking area and easy to find with fairly close distance to the motorway. VERY good kitchen for dinner.

Sommer Hygge - This place is a gem!
I booked this hotel last minute for a business trip. I arrived around 17.00 on a Monday to a quiet oasis surrounded by beautiful nature. From my room, all I could hear were chirping birds and the babbling brook nearby. Staff were amazing - excellent customer service. They set me up with an apple and a bottle of water for a 4.5 km nature walk around the property. Dinner was beautiful. Superb customer service! I will be back!

nice stay in a beautiful park setting
A very pleasant stay. The hotel staff are very professional and responsive to any matters brought up by guests. The food served at dinner time is really good and reasonably priced for the area.

Attractive hotel in the countryside
Stayed 2 days on business, excellent staff and food, felt well looked after. Hotel has a river running passed and is sited in a wood with gardens. Very relaxing. Will be returning to this hotel and will use the chain that owns it.

Et dejligt sted, med meget fin service af personalet. Værelset var lidt koldt sikkert pga. den strenge frost, men ville være godt at have varme på badeværlset. Lækker morgenmad og ellers et fint ophold i smukke omgivelser.

Dejlig beliggenhed
Utroligt dejlig beliggenhed i rolige omgivelser. Stilfulde rammer for en miniferie. Vi havde et godt indrettet superior værelse. Morgenmadsudvalget måske ikke det mest omfattende, men kvaliteten i orden med gode råvarer og specialiteter. Restauranten serverer også en dejlig menu om aftenen. Generelt god service på stedet med enkelte svipsere.

Super lækkert.
Super dejligt hotel beliggende i de smukkeste omgivelser. Venligt og serviceminded personale, lækker 3 retters menu i restauranten. Fint lille dobbeltværelse med skønne senge, lækre puder og dyner. Ingen mørklægningsgardiner + meget lydt trækker lidt ned. Vi kommer gerne igen til dette skønne hotel.

Pænt hotel
Hyggeligt hotel i parklignende omgivelser. Små værelser, men roligt og i pæn stand. Restaurant overraskede med kun at have en 3-retters menu. Ingen mulighed for at vælge andet mad, end at plukke fra det der var på menu? Hovedretten var laks med ratatoille, som var lidt rå og smagte lidt for fersk. Det er ikke alle der tager på hotelophold for at få en 3 retters menu, men egentligt bare vil have mulighed for at vælge nogle retter fra et beskeden menukort. Så ville anbefale de fik 2-3 enkelte måltider mere til rimelige penge.

Hotel und Anlage sehr gepflegt und interessant gestaltet. Restaurantauswahl etwas begrenzt aber sehr schmackhaft. Service super - z.B. Kellnerin vom vorabend hatte am Frühstückstisch eine persönliches 'Guten morgen' hinterlassen. Achtung: Zimmer sind klein - für ein Tagungshotel komplett in Ordnung aber mit Kindern eher eng. Es gibt in der Anlage aber genug Ablenkung.

Dejligt roligt sted. Flotte omgivelser . Imødekommende personale. Dejlig mad. Eneste minus ved vores eneste overnatning var udluftning i badeværelset, især efter bad.
