I like that this hotel is close to the airport and has a shuttle service. I was not happy that I could not use the hotel shuttle because the shuttle was not allowed to take my snowboard. They have rules like that.

Nothing here. And bar is like an open area in the cafeteria restaurant. I’m not sure if they are in the midst of renovations but the bathroom lfloor tiles ooked like a construction site with what appeared like drywall dust although it was clean to the touch. Very Weird Destin choice.

Stayed 1 night on the way home fro Malaga. Very clean rooms, quite rooms and comfortable beds. Hotel provides a convenient shuttle service from and to the hotel. Meal in hotel was adequate but thought a bit expensive.

I rarely write reviews. 1. The hotel is on a highway, which means that you will hear the traffic noise all the time. Day and night. Window noise insulation is horrible. 2. You would think at least it is close to airport. No. It is 10min drive, in no where. You might as well stay 5 min more and stay in barcelona 3. At least, if you can't sleep, you can wake up early and hit the hotel gym. Wrong. Gym super small. Most equipment is broken and doesn't work 4. I paid 233 euro for the night. This is a 100 euro max hotel in terms of facility and location 5. Very limited good menu for dinner

Property was rather tired, looked and felt old. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but the property did not match these high standards. Gym equipment was old and some of the pieces did not work properly.

It was difficult to find, no clear sign of the entrance, and it’s located in an industrial zone with no dining options but their restaurant. Poor workmanship in bathroom. TV was small and smacked in a corner with poor visibility from the bed. It’s an average hotel. Personnel was nice and friendly though. No instructions were given to properly check out of the parking. It was confusing to say the least!

Lovely stay—-EXCEPT for the shuttle experience. At airport it is not clear where to stand to get the shuttle. When driver asked if we were staying at Barcelona Hotel Airport, we said yes and got in. At the hotel we were told we had no reservations and we’re at the wrong hotel. Our hotel was Hotel Barcelona Airport by Meliá. 10 minute walk dragging suitcases through corporate area and we finally got to our correct hotel. Signage at the airport or telling us which stall to stand at would help people get to the correct hotel. And use by Meliá- this is what the Spaniards recognize!

Typical airport hotel experience, nothing special but the room was clean and comfortable, check in was quick and easy, and we appreciated the complimentary airport shuttle on the morning of checkout. I would stay here again if I needed something close to the Barcelona airport.

We checked in late (after 1am), made a reservation for 3 adults for a suite so that there were two beds and the sofa bed mattress had urine and blood on it and there were no sheets or pillows for the second bed. We moved to a different room and in the new room there weren't linens for the second bed. I also accidentally booked the room for the wrong night and was told (via Hotels.com messaging from the hotel property) to cancel my non-cancellable reservation and make a new one at the same property and the property would authorize a refund. After several days, support told me they weren't able to obtain authorization. So I'm disputing the charge. Not a good experience at all

Service leave much to be desired.
It was an expensive hotel, but not worth the cost, and the service was poor. The wifi was good, which was critical for my work. However, I have a blood sugar issue, and when it dropped for me at 10 pm, I tried to call room service, but the phone in the room was broken. There was no minibar food, so I rushed down to get food from the restaurant (remains open until midnight.. gotta love Spain!) and waited at the door for about 10 minutes and nobody came to help. Eventually, feeling ill from my blood sugar, I went to the front desk since they have a "grab and go" service where you can buy food or drinks from a fridge at the front desk. The person at the front desk told me they only sell the snacks and drinks after midnight and that I needed to go back to the restaurant. Telling them that I didn't care what I ate, I just needed something because I was getting dizzy, and couldn't stand and wait 10 minutes for someone to even come seat me in the restaurant, she just said "you have to go to the restaurant". She did at least try to call the restaurant and the food people for room service, but niether picked up for her either. However I'm shocked she was unwilling to even sell me a snack or a drink. Needing something, I staggered back over to the restaurant and someone eventually helped me after I waited for 10 more minutes, but I didn't get my food for another 15 or 20 minutes. Honestly, this was mostly just very poor service, but the quality of the hotel is worse than most $250 room

Ended up in this Airport hotel after BA cancelled our flight home with only a few hours notice. The staff are fantastic and the service in the restaurant second to none. The room was clean and the bed as large as it was comfortable. Definitely recommend

I would have given the hotel 4 stars if I have not noticed on my credit card,that they charged me twice for breakfast. I paid14 Euro at the front desk night before. But the breakfast staff charged me 18 Euro again. Apparently, the front desk person did not inform the breakfast staff.
