Only hotel with terrace overlooking Le Vieux Port
I booked the hotel as the only one in the area with a rooftop terrace, which, indeed, it had. The view from there was spectacular, but it was a little too breezy to eat breakfast up there. There had once been a bar up there, but not now, just some tables and chairs. The hotel didn't mind us buying a G and T from the bar next door and taking them " up on the roof" for a romantic tincture.
Still, the hotel was ideally situated, just metres from Le Vieux Port, and with plenty of places to eat and drink adjacent. The room was, as they say, petite and bijou, but spotlessly clean, with a view from the window of the harbour; double glazed and air con, with a comfy bed, we had a good night's sleep.
A special word for the lovely receptionist; she was utterly charming and helpful, so full marks for her. We would stay again.....wish they had a bar though!
