Nice hotel
The condition of hotel is nice and it is on the middle of city. Quite easy to go to sightseeing point on foot.

Great hotel.
Very nice hotel; the staff was fantastic and very helpful. One free beer per customer at their restaurant and the food was good. I’m very glad I stayed in this hotel.

Quiet and comfortable
Easy walking distance to most of Vientiane. The staff were all willing to help, the room was comfortable and nice and quiet.

Find better rooms and ammenities for a better pric
The room was advertised as having a deep soaking tub and I was also told that I would be able to get a king size bed when I arrived but they gave me two twins .. The staff was excellent which explains a higher price but the price was and if it can we hire considering that the room was not very great quality and there was nothing they could do to give me the king size bed I was told I would receive when I booked the reservation. My recommendation is don’t stay here for the price they charge it is very easy to find other rooms that are much more qualities for even cheaper. I paid around 1500 baht for this room it should have only cost around 700 for room of this quality. & another 300 baht for the service.

Good hotel but maintenance needed
When I stayed this hotel first in 2012, I felt it a faultlessly good hotel. However since then I have felt the hotel deteriorating year by year. I can find small drawbacks, ie. broken door chain, broken drawer or broken bathtub stopper. They regretably lower the impression of this nice hotel. Sometimes I check in after 22:00 because of the flight delay at Wattay Airport. Then I think their night staffs at the reception friendly but they should be more instructed.

Pleasant hotel in a quiet location
I was satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The staff is very pleasant, the hotel is in a quiet yet central location not far from the city center and the riverfront, in a surrounding where most other hotel are located as well. The breakfast was decent with enough selection and variety. The hotel itself is not new but clean and well-kept.

Convenient location
The suites are very spacious, the deluxe rooms are OK. I think that we were spolit by the suite room so when we only got the deluxe it felt so much smaller - but was definitely more spacious than most big city hotels.

The Charge me for additional fee a second bed that advertising on the wed site. They lie about having a full kitchen. There no kitchen at all. No kitchenware. No kitchenette. No microwaves . Nothing about kitchen was true . False advertising. Charge high prices on the full kitchen. No was very disappointed. Stay away from this hotel.

We are repeating customers. Every time we were in Vientiane, we always stayed here because of its location. The rooms were always clean, comfortable. The staff were always pleasant and helpful.

Lovely hotel. Central location. Friendly staff.
Lovely hotel in central location. Nice room and balcony. Buffet breakfast was great and big selection of food on offer. Staff were very friendly and helpful and in particular the Indian manager whose name I forgot to write down. About a ten minute walk to the river front. There is a handy well stocked grocery store on the next corner from the hotel and it's open until midnight. We enjoyed our stay here.

City Inn Vientiane - best place to stay in town
I enjoyed my 2 nights' stay at the City Inn Vientiane. The location is near several landmarks, and everything is in walking distance from the hotel (except the That Luange, which is far from everything). The staff are quite helpful, even with their limited English-speaking capability. Pam, the hotel manager, was especially helpful. Many thanks to her for arranging things.

Good hotel but a bit becoming aging
When I had stayed before last year, I found this hotel quite satisfactory and comfortable, deserving five star considering the hotel rate. However during this stay I feel small parts of equipment starts aging. And also service of the hotel staffs seems lowering. I feel this hotel is still excellent in this city at this range of hotel rate. Therefore I hope this hotel is advisable to fix thier equipments and train their staffs to keep attractive in the future.

Nice stay in December 2015
Staff were very friendly and made helpful suggestions on what to do during my short time in Vientiane. (Hint: Buddha Park!) The chef prepared special--and delicious--food to accommodate my dietary restrictions.

Terrible reception!
If I had checked in this hotel during daytime, I would have rated "excellent". However I was too unlucky to check in late in the night. I have never consumed half an hour to check in a hotel anywhere in the world! And during my waiting the reception seemed impolite and lukewarm to find my reservation. However excellent the other factors are, unfortunately the first touch of the hotel could largely spoil the image.

Without question, great value
I stayed at City Inn for a week in late September 2015 on a business trip and had a "junior suite" which was very spacious and comfortable. The bedroom was excellent, and the living room was fine. All the rooms in the hotel have full length windows and so are bright and comfortable, the internet is fine, the hotel staff are fabulous - very welcoming and responsive, the buffet breakfast each morning was just great with four hot dishes, four salad items, cereal, yogurt and a toaster to make toast or heat up croissants. I would absolutely go back not only for another business trip but also to stay in a regular bedroom with my wife. I recommend it very highly. It is right next door to the upscale Lao Plaza (where I have stayed previously) and you can stay at City Inn for better service at half the price. City Inn is one of the best hotel values in Vientiane without question

I allways stay at this hotel when I go to Vientiane . it is central to most areas for walking. the people there are most helpfull when you need something. the breakfast is simple but good.

Comfortable bed and good location
The hotel is conveniently located around the city area with many restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Service is good too with the staff providing information that we need. However, more smiles by the staff can be added to make the service better. I would recommend this hotel if you want a comfortable room and good location.
