"We had a wonderful family holiday at this beautiful villa, celebrating my mother’s 80th birthday. The villa itself was lovely, with a gorgeous pool and the most stunning views. There was plenty of space for everyone, with spacious bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and fantastic outdoor areas.We particularly loved the large outdoor dining table, where we enjoyed most of our lunches and evening meals together.The surrounding area is equally beautiful, with plenty to explore. We enjoyed walking the local trails, visiting nearby medieval towns and swimming in the cool, clear gorges.We’d love to come back!"

"Fijn vakantie huis met prachtige uitzichten. We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenares Laura. Ze had al enkele dingetjes in de koelkast gezet . Zo welkom gevoel . En het is even een dingetje om door de flessenhals te komen bij ingang van dorpje. Maar het ging steeds vlotter als je het een paar hebt gedaan . De omgeving is ook zo mooi . We hadden prachtig weer en hebben genoten van het zwembad . We waren met z’n tweeën en hadden meer dan genoeg ruimte. Wie weet komen we nog een keer !"

"It was easy to find the house with the instructions given by the owner. Nicely situated in a calm area of the village. The handling of garbage was a bit tricky to figure out though and it was inevitable that some garbage would pile up when only certain garbage was supposed to be emptied on certain days. But that's how garbage management seems to work in Italy.The house was very well equipped in the kitchen and elsewhere. The beds were generally not that comfortable. Wifi worked but the coverage was very limited. The house had been serviced by a better router so that you could get wifi upstairs and by the pool. Now wifi was limited to the TV room on the ground floor. The shower in the bathroom on the lower floor was super nice. Spacious and good water supply. It was very easy to get in contact with the owner when I had some questions. He replied quickly to emails."

"We wish we could give 10 stars! This was one of the most amazing hotel experiences we have ever had across multiple trips to Europe. Not sure how we fell into this boutique gem but glad we did. Clean, well maintained, beautifully appointed, everything is modern and works as expected! The location is ideal to explore Pistoia. The train is a very easy 12 minute walk. There is a breakfast available for 12 euro. Well worth it! My wife is a 4 shots of espresso girl over ice. They didn’t flinch and didn’t disappoint. Can’t say enough about the staff. From Llario to Leonardo and especially Matteo they answered every question with careful thought. We felt like family was taking care of us. Before we arrived they arranged a driver for us to get to our next destination. Not easy when you are traveling in a group of 7 with too many suitcases! If you are thinking of Pistoia then look no further than Palazzo 42."
