Very nice hotel.

Location: Within walking distance to waterfront, museum and Government Street.
Pleasantly surprised. Suites had all the comforts of home. The evening turn down service was a very nice touch. Water with fresh mint, chocolates.

Nice quaint hotel in Victoria BC

Posted 22-Sep-2016
Very comfortable, close to everything. Hotel not usually in need of air conditioner and swimming pool, except in hot weather. My week stay was very warm. If able to do without these two things, then this is your second home. We will come back as soon as possilbe. Horse carriages even pick up guest, nice treat.

Very nice non-chain hotel in great location

Posted 20-Sep-2016
The hotel staff was very nice and professional. The room was modern, clean, and well furnished. The location was great and we were able to walk to many attractions around Victoria. We never got our car out of the garage once we arrived.

Stylish hotel perfect location

Posted 13-Sep-2016
Pros: See above
Cons: Breakfast could be included in the room rate.
Location: Harbour tours, Beacon Hill gardens, fisherman's wharfe Cook Street village, community market and lovely walks along the coast.
Staying at the Oswego was like staying with friends from the warm welcome accorded to us by reception staff to the very comfortable and stylish rooms. The hotel had clearly considered the needs of their guests shown by a very high quality kitchen, impressive music system, comfortable beds and good sea views from the balcony.

Pros: Modern, clean and location!
Cons: Needs USB ports.
Close to downtown, able to walk everywhere. Very modern rooms. However no USB ports, which was surprising.

Perfect location

Perfect location to walk and enjoy Victorias wonderful bounty: harbor, shops, restaurants, fishermans wharf, markets, gardens, high tea at the Empress, Royal BC Museum all within a 15min walk from Oswago. Room a bit run down eg table broken furniture showing much use. I slept 4 nights on a very uncomfortable pull out bed - would not recommend had to cover with sheets as the arms very grubby. Was offered a glass of sparking water at dinner first night in restaurant impression made me feel it was complimentary only to find it entered on the bill did - not go back!

Lovely Boutique Style Hotel

Posted 04-Sep-2016
Pros: Decor, staff, area, lounge/restaurant, services.
Location: In walking distance to attractions, restaurants, ferry service. Bike rentals available
We visit Victoria frequently and thought we'd try the Oswego this time. The location was central, had a lovely neighbourhood feel and was in walking distance to restaurants and attractions. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming from the beginning of our stay until our departure. We enjoyed the hospitality in the restaurant and lounge where they served a delicious feature cocktail on the evening of our arrival. The turn down service provided was a nice treat as we enjoyed a cool glass of mint water and milk chocolate left on our bedside tables each evening. The room was well appointed and the only criticism was the bed was a little small. Our stay was delightful and we will definitely be back!

Great pet friendly hotel!

Posted 31-Aug-2016
Pros: Lots of light, balcony and great kitchen.
Cons: If they had air-conditioning. But, not a deal breaker. Most times you wouldn't need it. And they did have fans.
Location: Close to everything!
Wonderful hotel. Very clean, spacious, bright and homey. Supplied dog bed and food and water bowl. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to everywhere. We were on the 7th floor so it was a bit noisy at night. Also, the only other thing is no air-conditioning. They have ceiling fans and did supply us with a portable. It worked out fine.
