Weekend Away

Posted 09-Dec-2016
Pros: I liked the location, the staff were all very friendly and the room was very nicely decorated and spacious.
Cons: The location of the gym is a bit odd as you have to walk through the bar area to get to and from it unless you use the stairs then you can avoid that.
Location: Great location, close to the grocery store, 10 min walk, close to downtown if you want to walk it, quiet neighbourhood.
Went to Victoria to catch up with friends and see our daughter so we stayed at the Oswego in a studio suite. The room was great, plenty of room for 2 people and enough room to have daughter and boyfriend over for drinks. The bar and restaurant were closed for private functions in the evenings which was fine as they had called us ahead of time to make us aware which I thought was a nice touch. The gym was small but was equipped with the enough for a small work-out. I would highly recommend staying here as off the main street so very quiet at night but close enough to walk to Thrifty's and downtown.

It's a great stay in this hotel. People are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Probably will return back to the same hotel!

Exploring Victoria

Posted 04-Nov-2016
Pros: The location is very convenient for both business and pleasure travelers. My suite was super clean and well appointed with relaxing, tasteful decor. The kitchen was well stocked for longer stays with pots, dishes, small appliances and cutlery.
Cons: I was totally satisfied and pleasantly surprised. have booked another stay - longer next time.
Location: Short walking distance to the BC legislature, harbour, museum, Emily Carr home and Beacon Hill Park.

Pros: Location was great. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable
Cons: Having to pay for parking
Location: Quick walk to Downtown and Inner Harbour and the Wharf
Great place to stay. Walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. Informed the staff at check in that we were on our honeymoon, went out for dinner and when we came back there was a lovely card and some chocolates complimentary of the hotel.

Always a great visit

Posted 21-Oct-2016
Pros: Quiet and clean every time.
Cons: Oddly enough, access to the balcony is different in each room and it sometimes takes a minute to find the door.
Location: Parliament building and the Royal British Columbia Museum are very close and the museum was great on a rainy day.
The staff are great and friendly, very helpful if you have questions about the area. The room is always clean and they leave the music playing on the radio after they clean your room. Fresh water with mint leaves in your room each night is a nice touch.
