Feel like royalty

Posted 11-Aug-2017
Pros: The way the staff took good care of us!
Cons: The matress seemed a little old
Location: You're in the center of everything! Buckingham palace, Westminster abbey, cruise on the Thames, Houses of Parliament, etc.
We had such a greatexperience at this hotel! It's withing walking distance of many attractions, such as Westminster abbey, Buckingham Palace, Big, Ben, etc. Close to the tube and bus stops, close to the Thames as well. The staff was outstanding, often going above and beyond to be helpful. They made us feel like royalty! In nine days there, we never saw anything but greatness from them. The rooms are clean, bathrooms are a little small, but we were barely in our rooms other than to sleep, there was so much to see! Lots of restaurants for all budgets, at night they had a bar in the interior garden, we loved to go there and relax after a full day of sightseeing! The room was a little small, but very affordable, especially when so close to everything and worth every penny to be a part of this wonderful hotel! If you have a chance to stay there, you won't regret it!

very clean and walking distance to many locations

Posted 08-Aug-2017
Pros: In walking distance to many locations including Victoria Station. Very clean.
Cons: The front desk people are very different. Some are very helpful while others were not helpful.
Location: Buckingham Palace is a block away. Victoria station is about a 15 minute walk. Big Ben and Thames River, and Westminster Abbe about a 15 minute walk.
I had an amazing stay. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. The wellness center (Spa) is wonderful. The concierge is helpful and very professional. The door man very polite, professional. Hotel has an excellent buffet and wonderful traditional British Breakfast too. I have to a special compliment to the person who helps with the luggage (Bellhop in the US). He was so wonderful and the most help when I arrived and when I was leaving. He was so kind. He helped to weigh my luggage so I knew before the arriving to airport for my departure how much bags weighed. Overall an amazing experience and very highly recommended.

The hotel is conveniently located to many fabulous historical sites. Lovely building well maintained. Adjustments for charges take time, hoping the credit appears soon.

Terrific hotel in great London location

Posted 06-Aug-2017
Pros: We enjoyed the comfortable rooms, great breakfasts and helpful staff. The location is great - easy walk to Tube, and major London sights.
Location: We walked to Buckingham Palace, Parliament, Thames River cruise, London Eye and wonderful parks. Also Tube station was an easy walk.
My wife and I brought our 10 year old son with us on a family vacation to London and we were quite pleased by the St. James Court Hotel. The hotel welcomed us warmly, including presenting our son with a tote bag with gifts. Although we had arrived quite early from a trans-Atlantic flight, they had our room available. We were happy with a very large room, especially compared to other European city hotel rooms. Service was excellent, the hotel was extremely well cared for, and the location was perfect for seeing the highlights of London.

Great location and fantastic service

Pros: Great location, fantastic service, nice size room, very clean, comfortable bed, great water pressure in bathroom, See above for more details.
Cons: A/C & heating difficult to use, more electrical outlets, waste paper baskets too small, & laundary service too expensive. See above for more details.
Location: It is centrally located and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, St. James Park, and the Churchill War Rooms. It
I stayed 7 nights and the hotel has some great pluses. Most importantly, the location cannot be beat. It is centrally located and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, St. James Park, and the Churchill War Rooms. It is also very close to the British Museum, Hyde Park, Harrod's and Selfridges, as well as many good restaurants. Other pluses include a spacious and immaculate room, a very, very comfortable bed, really good water pressure in the bathroom, plenty of shelf space in the bathroom, and unbelievable top notch service. The Concierge team, especially Binoy and Connie, were spectacular and they arranged for all our dinner reservations, gave us directions, answered all our questions, and were super helpful. The entire hotel staff makes goes out of its to satisfy your every request. There were only a few minor downsides, which are hardly worth mentioning, but the air conditioning and heating control was difficult to use, there could have been a couple more electrical outlets strategically placed, the T.V. was a little small and at an angle to the bed, the waste paper baskets were tiny and had covers on them which made them difficult to use, and the hotel laundry service is outrageously expensive. Notwithstanding these minor issues, all in all, this is a top notch hotel, and I would not hesitate to recommend staying there.
