Wonderful stay with lovely staff, very family friendly, great breakfast buffet. Just watch out for the car park, only very small cars can fit down the ramp easily. Other than that, great!

This is a lovely hotel and breakfast was good. Staff are helpful and friendly too. I was disappointed though to find that all of their restaurants and the lounge bar were closed for refurbishment. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere on Expedia or their own website. I chose this hotel over the other ones in Mellieha specifically for the lounge because I was visiting out of season and on my own.

Enjoyed our stay. Second time at this hotel
Perfect stay, the only complaint was the bed wasn't comfortable for me, would ask for softer mattress next time when booking room. Stayed on 8th floor garden view room which was lovely. Hotel very clean!!

Allocated 7th floor, unsafe with young kids then moved to larger room smelling if smoke, finally 3rd room smelt musty/old. Bathroom door was wooden cupboard door. 2-3* hotel and very disappointing. Expedia were helpful to try resolve room issues. Pool was tiny and too hot, family couldn’t wait to leave

Winter Break
Great hotel, friendly staff and fab facilities. The rooftop pool and bar is a fantastic option to soak up the sun. A complicated process of getting pool towels could be made a bit simpler for guests not having to traipse all across multiple floors of the hotel. Otherwise, would definitely recommend a stay here. Plenty of fab local restaurants in walking distance as well as the multiple food options available at the hotel.

Excellent.
Excellent room overlooking pool. Cleaning service excellent. Had breakfast a few times which had a great selection including omelettes to order. Roof top pool was lovely as in the sun all day. As others have said I wouldn’t use the car park if I hadn’t had a small Peugeot 107. But when it was full they let me park in the unloading bay out front anyway so not really a problem. Location in the centre great for access to town. Could see the sea from my balcony. I’d have preferred the balconies to be more private as they were overlooked by adjacent rooms but it was ok. Comfy bed and pillows. Great shower. Would stay again.

A Priceless Jewel (in the off-season)
Great location, amazing breakfast, great pools on the top floor with amazing views of Mellieħa, the bay and also pools in the garden levels. The main attractions within walking distannce and the beach is a 4 km from the hotel. There is great bus service on the island with a bus stop 10 steps from the hotel door. I haven't tried the spa. Room and bed were great, all very comfortable. I got the room for about $70,00 in late October.

The hotel is beautifully appointed, especially the family pool, indoor pool and spa area. However, be very careful not to book an interior room. Our room was inward facing directly over the reception area, guest lounge and cocktail bar (thankfully closed out of season). The noise of voices was amplified due to the inner courtyard design of the hotel which created an echo chamber effect. Unfortunately we could not get to sleep before 3am on any night of our stay. This did severely impact our stay, which was booked for the purpose of rest and recuperation. The hotel should make very clear that interior rooms might be affected by nighttime noise so that customers can make an informed choice as to whether to book or not.

The hotel room was large but the air conditioning did not work and maintenance could offer us no help but a fan. Also access to the room consisted of 2elevator rides walking thru a tunnel another long walk and then multiple steps. We had 6 bags since we are traveling for over a month and there was no offer to help with luggage. When checking out the front desk told me that someone would be looking at the AC today but I was checking out. When asked if there would be any compensation for my uncomfortable night he said. No. We asked to speak to the manager. Meanwhile my husband spoke to Customer Relations person who said they would compensate us with a free night some other time. Hopefully that happens.

Fantastic relaxing hotel
We loved the hotel - beautiful and great location for us as we wanted a relaxing break but there are also a number of lovely restaurants nearby. We went to the blue lagoon and Valletta on the bus just stayed 4 days and it was amazing especially the cocktails !

Amazing hotel! The staff were brilliant. Very relaxing ambience in the hotel. Only issues were the indoor pool and jacuzzi weren’t working during my stay and the “free beach shuttle” advertised isn’t a thing out of the peak summer season. But they’re minor issues, and worth looking over as the rest of the hotel was exceptional.

We had a junior suite, so we had the best view, although the balcony was quite small and there was no outside lamp, so we had to bring the inside lamp outside to have some kind of light in the evening. Breakfast was good, all you need there. The towels were already ripped and heavily used - this should not happen in a 4* hotel. Also, we were quite disappointed with the staff at the reception. we were disguised into thinking parking is available at the property - we even asked for a reservation. not once did someone mention that the garage is only for small cars (lenght less than 2m), when we asked what to do with our car now, they told us to go park to the church. i asked how to get there, answer? just go to the church, the big church over there. Okay thanks! Also when we asked about nearby beaches and the actual swimming situation, the reception guy laughed us off, how should he know? If I tell him how the wind is blowing then he can tell me if it is safe. Well excuse me for thinking you are capable just like any other hotel to inform your guests about main attractions nearby.

Beautiful hotel with the nicest most helpful staff. Everything you could want under one roof including a spa and gym. Choice of two great swimming pools with food and drink at the poolside Excellent food in great choice of restaurants. First trip to Malta will definitely be back!

Amazing Hotel with great staff
Our first stay in this Hotel and we loved it! Positives: - Breakfast is great with plenty of choices to suit everyone. - Thai restaurant on the roof of the hotel has very good food with breathtaking viewsall the way to Comino - Rooftop pool (adults only), Ground floor pool with multi-level waterfall, Indoor pool & Jacuzzi, & just 15min walk to the beach so you can swim whatever the weather. - Very nice cocktails served at the pool bar. - Staff are very friendly and helpful. - Room was very spacious (we stayed in a family suite) with a massive balcony on the 8th floor. - Reasonable room prices for what you get. Negatives: - Roof top pool is only for 16 year olds and above so I was not allowed to swim up there with the kids. - Ground floor pool (allows kids) but it was quite cold as it is partially shaded by the hotel. - Underground garage has a very tight swirly entrance - Prices for cocktails are on the pricy side but very tasty. Summary: All in all our stay was fantastic. Yes we did have an incident on our final day with one of my kids falling in between the pools & cutting her leg needing stitches at the local hospital, staff were very kind and gave us a very late checkout so that she could keep her leg up in the room. One suggestion, Since the ground floor pool is kids friendly, something needs to be in place to deter the children from trying to climb between the levels of the pool to avoid any future accidents. It could have been much worse if she hit hear head.

Hotel is clean, room nice and beds comfy. However we had a room above a restaurant and chairs scraping could be heard at all times and when we complained about the noise the answer was just ‘it’s not ours’. Our room overlooked a very busy road which was also very loud. Hence our sleep was not good. The rooftop pool and service are lovely for adults but no kids allowed. The garden pool only gets the sun for part of the day and the pool is very deep making it very difficult for kids to play in as they have to tread water the whole time. All in all an unpleasant stay and ruined our holiday and we won’t be returning.
