Close to downtown

Posted 12-May-2016
Pros: Location
It was quiet. I just felt that it needed more work on the building and rooms. Not really worth the 80+ dollars I spent.

Not happy

Posted 12-May-2016
Pros: Located in good area.
Cons: Give discount on room when the bathroom has hair dye stains by the sink. Lots of it. Clean bathroom of mold on tile and dirt on door and under sink.
Location: Only good thing about it was location. Clean the bathrooms and train staff properly and it would be a good place to stay.
King size bed was hard as a rock. Furnishings in rough shape. Bathroom was disgusting. Was charged $50.00 security deposit where I made sure the money that we left clerk would check the room and refund the charge. Instead I was charged again for $50.00 making it $100.00 security deposit. Told him it was done wrong and he said the refund would be put through he would make sure of it. Will keep my eye on charge card. Front desk is not trained properly our playing dumb to scam. Will never stay here again.

1 step up from a hostel

Posted 04-May-2016
Very dated hotel clean but very utilitarian. Thread bare towels in bathroom old air conditioning that didnt function well broken thermostat in room so you couldn't adjust the temperature of the room. Bed was new but pillows very suspect , only sheets and bedspread no blankets or comforter. No Internet connection in room . Staff were friendly. Would not return.

Such a good area to be...close to downtown

Posted 02-May-2016
Pros: Proximity to everywhere I needed to go. Great little breakfast/lunch restaurant a block and a half away...Jam!
Cons: Everywhere I go I always believe attention and detail to bathroom cleanliness is imperative.
Location: Close to downtown and the waterfront, great pubs and restaurants within a couple of blocks and nightclubs just a few more blocks away.
Great parking available and the best part, it was free! This hotel is close to downtown and the waterfront. Everything is walkable and it was great that it even happened to be very close to where my son is living so I could park and walk there as well. If you take a bike, you can get anywhere easily. We walked downtown each night for dinner and it was great to know you could have a couple of drinks and not worry about having to drive anywhere. It was clean and the staff so very friendly and helpful.

Hotel stay

Posted 10-Apr-2016
The staff are excellent. Friendly and courteous .Location and price was good. Close to Save on Memorial Center , just walk accross the street and your there,so that was nice. Bed was comfortable. Esthetically the rooms need some improvement like paint new counter tops etc.. Was just there to sleep, so it didn't make a difference to us. We would go back.

Right downtown, not too expensive.

My only frustrations were the internet was a little spotty at times and there was no space to hang my suits, the room was a _little_ small.

Close to downtown.. But

Posted 14-Mar-2016
No water from 7 am Saturday until almost9 pm that day. 4 large men wouldn't stop banging on our door and front desk would not answer and then was extremely nonchalant the next day about it. Patio door wouldn't lock. Bathtub was rusted. Only 2 of the outlet plugs worked. The tv nor did the alarm clock work. The ice machine was in the parking garage. And there were mouse traps under the beds. Only positive note is that it is in a good location and close to down town.
