Great location. Nice for walking.

Posted 20-May-2016
Location: I was in town for business so I did not do any tourist things but the location close to the city and walking on Dallas Road seems ideal for tourists.
I stayed just for one night and chose the hotel based on location and pet friendliness. I was very please with everything about the hotel from the room, to restaurant food to location. Staff was great too. The fact they allow pets and they are a nice hotel is just great for me.

Great hotel beautiful walk from town!

Posted 03-May-2016
Perfectly enjoyable and comfortable! Great views, very comfortable rooms. The walk to town was stunning and under 10 minutes of walking. Stayed with my three kids and my cousin and her kids and felt safe, and welcomed. The pool and hot tub will be fabulous when renos are done.

Excellent value in James Bay

Posted 02-May-2016
Great spot for a girls' weekend. Walk to all the downtown attractions, Fisherman's Wharf and Beacon Hill Park. Worth a little bit extra for the harbour view. Choose the 4th floor if you want a full balcony, but ours (5th floor & just big enough to stand out on) was great too. The Blue Crab restaurant was excellent and well-priced, particularly for breakfast. Great service all around. I would definitely recommend & stay here again.

Over achieved.

Better than expected. Clean corner room was nice. It was quiet till the neighbors moved in and needed to slam balcony door and bathroom door.(not hotels problem) Blue Crab restaurant was nice, overlooked harbour. Managers welcome was appreciated (a lounge drink & appetizers) unheard of unless trying to sell you a time share.

Pros: Quiet
Cons: parking too expensive, Rooms need to be more clean.
Location: Fisherman's village
We stayed in the hotel with the kids. Although quite far from the down town , the hotel has a complimentary shuttle.

Loved my stay

Posted 20-Mar-2016
I really enjoyed my stay. Some things I liked: the saltwater pool, the friendly staff (everyone from front desk, to management, to housekeeping), the large sized amenities, the art for sale all through downstairs, the lemon-water in the lobby, and the fact that they still carry pay-per-view movies (something many hotels have discontinued).

In the harbour

The can only be accessed thru the locker room. Most people are very old and they were walking about nude...was a horrid sight. Group style area with no privacy.
