Staff are super friendly. They just opened a breakfast room (comes with continental breakfast). Room is very clean but the bed is too soft for my liking. Will stay there again.

They lock the entry doors at 5:00. I was left outside in a dark parking area trying to get someone to unlock the doors so I could check in. I have never been to a hotel that locks their entry doors that early so there must be a security issue in their area. I felt very unsafe.

We have policies and procedures for our staff that when they work alone, which happens after 5 PM, they can lock the front entrance doors so that they may assist other guests and not leave public areas exposed without supervision. This provides an extra layer of security as a re-assurance to our guests. Wonderful hotel and staff. Location was as good as it gets, loads of restaurants and grocery stores near by. Staff were great and the room was large quiet and clean. Would recommend to anyone staying in Sidney.

Very clean, efficient check-in, easy breakfast that has many choices and perfect for grab and go. Lots of extras like newspapers, lemonade and cookies in the lobby. Very friendly staff and excellent management. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our one night stay at Best Western Plus Emerald Isle. It was close to the Butchart Gardens & other places we were visiting and our room was better than expected. Beds were comfortable, and the continental breakfast was perfect. Although we didn't make use of them, we discivered the hotel has complementary bikes & helmets for adults to use. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to lovely Sidney.

This is a great place to stay while exploring Beacon street and the ocean front in Sydney B.C. The rooms are comfortable and relaxing. The staff was very helpful also.
