Location and staff were absolutely wonderful. My wife and I are older, so, the stairs were a little tough to take and the beds and couch could have been a little more comfortable, but, that's just us. The staff really were helpful with anything you needed.
i stayed at the vasari only one nite before taking a morning train to rome. it was more pleasant than i expected. it had character and the staff actually made to-order cappuccinos in the morning, something 4-star hotels don't always do now in italy.
This is a friendly hotel situated in an old building, and filled with many examples of old equipment etc on display. Good breakfasts with helpful and always cheerful staff.

Hotel staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast included, it was okay. Wish the temperature in the room was cooler and the room just a little bigger. Overall though, worth the price.
