This property was incredibly dated from the lobby to the rooms. I got the junior suite and there was no room, and you had to climb up the stairs that the railing was loose way too much money for what you got

The place is as we wanted. Having visited Venice prior our intent is to be away from the busy tourist traffic. To make our stay more intimate and immerse in where Venetian go to relax and unwinded. This place offer just that, experience was fantasy. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for Carnivale and Valentine's Day, five nights with breakfast as part of a flight-hotel package. Hotel staff were all very kind and lovely. Continental breakfast had hot options and were plentiful; there is also tea, espresso drinks, and biscuits available for guests in the afternoons in the lounge. Esperesso machine in room with pods is free, with paid mini-bar fridge options. The room size was generous and very warm with an adjustable thermostat; we were cozy despite the cold weather outside. Quiet area yet close to a main street and easily accessible to the main areas of Venice. Small extras that made it exceptional were: packed breakfast when we had to leave early the next morning; Valentine's Day chocolates left for us to enjoy fo free in the room. Only small complaint is that there isn't a Smart TV and therefore no English entertainment options, and a repeated sound like a sliding door upstairs (maybe a water pump?) would disturb light sleepers.

Sometimes hotels in Venice over promise and underwhelm. Not the case here. There was a confident grace about everything and everyone here. Consistent warm salutations and pro-active offers to help make the stay pleasant - from breakfast options to luggage storage to the oversized bath towels and in-room coffee makers. It was all in service of a soft landing from a day full of the city’s hard surfaces and the frenetic ping ponging, u-turning and lost in their cell phones, fellow wanderers. I loved the quite neighborhood and the stillness of it all. I’d stay here again for sure. FYI: solo traveler here on casual business. I can’t speak to any other rooms besides the standard room w double bed (perfect comfy size) but I can attest that the couple next door thoroughly enjoyed their room as well ;-)

We absolutely loved this place and were really sad to have only spend one night. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was super nice and helpful and the room was very comfortable. It is a little hard to find the hotel and you will HAVE to walk quite a lot to get there.

Our overall stay was great. The staff was amazing and we loved the breakfast. The only thing we did not like was the pull out bed being held up by pillows. This made the bed sink a lot. The he location was extremely far too.

This hotel is an absolute gem! It’s found in a bit more of a residential area, but close enough to the main Venice attractions by a 10-15 minute walk. The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help you with directions and reservations. The breakfast has a great selection of pastries, scrambled eggs, meats and fruits. Overall, this was an amazing experience for our first time in Venice. Grazie!

The property was at an amazing location, in 15 minutes you can reach st.Mark’s square. It has a taxi stop less than 10 minutes from the hotel. I couldn’t recommend it more

We stayed at this hotel as a family of 4. The room that we stayed in was spacious. The hotel was very clean and modern. The A/C worked perfectly. The staff was friendly and helpful on arrival. The location was perfect. It is within 1 to 2 minute from the vaporetto station at the Grand Canal. It is within 1 minute walk from the Main Street so it is away from all the traffic news. The days that we stayed the neighborhood held a block party with band. It was lovely to see how the neighborhood came together to celebrate. I definitely will stay here again on our next visit.

I had a warm and friendly welcome with useful orientation by a member of the team who showed me a map and recommended activities and places to eat and drink etc. The location of the hotel is excellent, I loved the area. Unfortunately my room did not live up to my expectations based on the four star rating of the hotel and the pictures on Hotel.com. The room felt tired and the bathroom smelled of sewage. I let the team know and I felt listened to. The bathroom was bleached which did mask the bad smell. The team also responded to the room being dingy without a lamp and placed one in my room. A further gesture offered to me was complimentary breakfast because the hotel was fully booked and the team were not able to move me to another room. The hotel provides refreshments in the afternoon/ evening which were appreciated. If the room was refurbished or perhaps if I was allocated a nicer room then I would consider returning because the customer service was excellent, especially when something didn’t go right, and the location is wonderful and very convenient.

A truly beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The staff are so informative and helpful, which made our stay even better. The hotel is positioned so close to everything that you can walk everywhere very quickly, but is quiet, and is right on the water with stunning views. Can not recommend this hotel enough.

Good location for those who like to explore. A 5-10mins walk from Rialto, 10-15 from St Marco sq. Complimentary home comforts you may have forgotten for the bathroom. Staff very knowledgeable of how to get around. Very quiet location in a residential area.

The hotel was very conveniently situated in a quiet area very close to the Grand Canal and many excellent restaurants. The staff at the hotel were phenomenal! They made us feel right at home when we arrived soggy and groggy at 7:00AM after an overnight train ride. As our room was available and we were soaked from the rain getting to the hotel from the train station, they saved the day by letting us check in early. What a pleasant surprise, only to be followed by a complimentary chilled bottle of Prosecco and Italian biscuits and welcoming note when we returned from our first foray exploring Venice. The people at the front desk were also very helpful in making recommendations for where to dine close by to the hotel. The breakfast at the hotel was also wonderful. In summary, I couldn’t say enough good things about this hotel. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Venice.

We will be coming back here
Fabulous hotel and great location. Just of the main thoroughfares to be peaceful but so close to absolutely everything. The staff were all extremely helpful, facilities great. Right on the water so super easy for taxi tansfer pick up and drop (which we would highly recommend as well)

Maison Venezia was a wonderful place to stay in Venice! The hotel is a beautiful Venetian style. The decor in the rooms keeps with the Venetian style, which is neat! They do seem a bit outdated and old, our floors had a slant and stains in the carpet, which was not ideal. But the staff was very helpful in providing a map and directions around the city! The location is away from the main hustle&bustle of town, which was so nice as it was quiet at night. It's a quick three minute walk to get onto the main road in town with lots of dining and shopping options. It was about a 20 minute walk to St. Mark's square.
