Lovely palazzo in quiet part of Venice. Room given to our family to accommodate 4 family members was spacious and clean. Very nice establishment, we felt like we stepped back in time at this beautiful, historical, yet still modern hotel.

The Palazzo is unique, room was large and comfortable....lovely garden area for sitting. The location was fantastic, with local cafes, and even a band and dancing one night. Recommend this hotel.

Liked: the idea of being in a palazzo, with interesting details, and the working class and authentic neighbourhood location away from tourists Dislike: the apathetic staff. Outside of the check in (which was polite but far from warm and friendly) amd the check out (which was the same), no one really was there. My partner mentioned that it felt like we were intruding somehow. The staff were in an office sittinf facing away from guests. It was nice, though, to be able to come and go with no need for unnecessary pleasantries. The main hall was beautiful but, for some reason, it was in disarray the 3 nights we stayed there. it seems like this place might also be an event space due to the size and the way they had all the sofas in one little room and the main hall almost empty. Candles were everywhere but not lit so sitting on the patio at night was dark.

    Great Stay

Very handy location, note nearest ferry stop is Celestia and still a 350m walk and 3 bridges. Large rooms and reception staff very helpful. Note can only check in before 8pm as staff then close front office.
