Een beetje thuiskomen...

Posted 29-Aug-2016

Excellent location

The hotels location is excellent with central Venice nearby and easy to get to the airport. Beach and good restaurants on the door step. Hotel is a bit tired and needs updating but staff more then compensated for this with great service and good knowledge of Venice.

Friendly staff, breakfast somewhat basic, clean rooms but bathroom could do with modernisation.

Definitely a great base and place to stay

Posted 08-Jun-2016
Pros: The hotel was emaculate and excellent service by staff and manager
Cons: Tea/ Coffee making facility in the rooms
Location: The hotel is ideally located next to the water taxi/bus station and shops and restaurants and beach is 10 minutes walk away. The perfect refuge.
We were warmly greeted on arrival and give a comprehensive overview of the facilities, parking, water buses and things to see and do. Eugene the receptionist kept us up to date throughout our week long stay. Room was spacious and comfortable and neat and tidy. Breakfast room and Breakfast was well presented and staff always on hand to help and assist.

Panorama Stay With Friends

Posted 12-May-2016 on Hotels
We joined some friends from Europe for a four night stay. The hotel was just across the water from Venice, about a 20 minute ride by ACTV water bus to St. Marks square. The water bus was very frequent and reliable and added to the experience. The water bus terminal was right across the road from the hotel making for an easy 'commute'. Leaving the hussle and bussle of Venice late afternoon for a rest and a quiet evening at a local restaurant was very relaxing. The hotel staff was very welcoming and offered every assistance and advice. The breakfast was buffet style and offered a good variety of food. The hotel is not so large and the breakfast area was never crowded. The view from the restaurant window, across the road to the water, was very nice. A pleasant, relaxing stay in Venice!

Nice hotel, close to the water transport.

Posted 04-May-2016
Pros: It was very clean, and the staff were very helpful. Situated just round the corner from a number of restaurants and pizzarias.
Location: Located across the road from the waterbus stop, so very handy to get on a boat across to Venice, or the islands.
Our first time in Venice, and we found this hotel was ideal, situated across the road from the water transport hub. The room was clean and comfortable, overlooking the lagoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast food was of good quality, and the hotel was clean throughout.

Convenient and away from the hubbub of Venice

Posted 03-May-2016
Pros: I love the location, ambiance, laid back atmosphere and the friendly, professional staff.
Cons: None that I could think of really.
Location: Restaurants, shops and the Lido beach. Not overrun by tourists making you feel like you live among locals.
The hotel is conveniently and literally located a couple of minutes from the vaporetti station so that from the airport you're right at its doorstep once you alight the water bus. It means you don't need to drag your luggage through the narrow cobblestone streets and up and down bridges in Venice which could be challenging for some. You're also away from the crowds in Venice and the accompanying hubbub but close enough that you're there in 10 minutes. The hotel looked recently renovated and is cozy, comfortable and clean with well very clean rooms and well appointed bathrooms and with balconies that overlook the lagoon. Staff are professionally cordial and would not hesitate to help. In fact, they would offer to help at the slightest sign of need. The hotel was well booked when I was there judging from the breakfast activities but it was extremely quiet and peaceful throughout my stay. The hotel is in Lido which is the perfect place to retire to after a busy and hectic day away from Venice which I noticed was noisily busy even at night. Both the hotel and the island are blissfully quiet even during the day which gives it that homey -- as opposed to touristy -- atmosphere. Panorama is a small but charming hotel with a compliment of staff that deliver quality service. I will definitely stay there again and will not hesitate recommending it to family and friends.
