A peaceful hotel

Posted 05-Nov-2016
Pros: Staff, rooms, view
Cons: Restaurant or clear recommendations for one nearby.
Location: Castillo area, so away from the main tourist spots. Close to Arsenale and the public gardens. Naval Museum is round the corner. Right on the lagoon.
Close to St Mark's, but far enough away that it's not too busy, this is a great hotel for people who want to simply get lost in Venice. It's one bridge from Arsenale, so you're on the vaporetto routes, but it is also one bridge away from the public gardens and the much less tourist-focuses end of La Serenissima. Staff were fabulous, bar prices are noticeably cheaper, but no restaurant was a little bit of a downfall for a single traveller. I will definitely stay again.

Great hotel only 10 mins walk to San Marco square.

Posted 04-Oct-2016
Pros: The Ship theme/.
Cons: Costly on the hotel beers but this is venice and it isn't a well established bar.
Location: San Marco is 10 minutes walk away but Rialto Bridge was 35 mins good walk. Lido is only 3-4 stops on the waterbus and a break from hectic venice
This little hotel was a great experience of Venice. It had a ship interior theme with great attention to detail overlooking the lagoon. Great sunrise and sunset views totally unobstructed unless a boat was moored in front of the hotel. A good location for San Marco strolls but we managed to walk over to Rialto Bridge in about 35 minutes where it is a little livelier. This is a good location for the Venice Lido where a beautiful sandy beach to rival islands in the Indian Ocean. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will return to it if in Venice again.

Wonderful boutique hotel

Charming hotel. The staff are very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the location. Close to Public boat stop and the Castello area embraces a more local and Venetian experience.

We stayed in a Junior Suite on the 3rd floor. Fabulous view of the lagoon and the most comfortable bed we slept on the entire time in Europe. Would highly recommend this hotel. It's also in the quiet Castello district right next to the Arsenale vaperetto stop.

Lovely boutique hotel right on the lagoon

Posted 13-Sep-2016
Pros: Lovely breakfasts, great waterfront location, but manages to be quiet as far enough away from the really busy spots. Great restaurants in nearby.
Cons: It's great, rooms are small burr beautifully fitted out, and the view, perfect!
Location: Great location, easy walk to St Marks, great links on the water buses.
Lovely hotel in a perfect location for enjoying all the sights.
