1)**Absolutely no parties allowed** Quiet family visits or gatherings under 10 are welcome while respecting quiet times. Due to limitations of septic and well systems, our max overnight capacity in Cottage is 6 people.
2) Quiet times are 10pm - 9am, during these times please limit music or noise outside the cottage. We have full-time neighbours in the community. This is a family community, and our home.
3) No smoking in the cottage or on the patio please. There is a bucket provided for outdoor smoking. Please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground.
4) No Pets - At this time we do not typically allow pets but please send us a message.
5) Please be respectful of our second home, the homes of our neighbours, and the community. Canyon Point Resort is not a business or rental facility, it is a community of owners who share in the cost of maintaining the roads and common amenities through condo fees. Our neighbours have been gracious enough to allow us to share our home with guests, we do not wish to lose that privilege as it is part of our local livelihood and brings us great joy to share our piece of paradise with you. Should our guests litter, damage property, drive aggressively, or cause a nuisance we would be disappointed to let our neighbours down.
6) Please do not remove items from the cottage. These are our personal items we share with guests. They are all for your use, but kindly return them for the next guests and for ourselves. We have lawn chairs, camping chairs, and sand toys available to take to the beach, please bring them back with you each day to enjoy again tomorrow.
7) No loud music - Please keep noise to minimum as out neighbors are full-time residents.
8) Please review local fire ban status prior to enjoying fire pit. We are considered Hants. https://novascotia.ca/burnsafe/
9)Please do not keep lobster/seafood in fridge due to odors which may linger for other guests.
10) Please do not keep garbage outside as it can attract wildlife. There are dumpsters located on Pioneer Drive nearing New Ross Rd. for Falls Lake West, please deposit any garbage here. We have recycling bags, brown bags, and clear plastic bags available for each guest. Please review the garbage separation guides in the cottage.
11) No fireworks
12) Please rinse before entering the hot tub, specifically after going to our beautiful beach. The sand in the filter can damage the hot tub.
We hope you enjoy your stay at our cottage, and love it as much as we do! This is our home that we have the joy of sharing.
Please feel free to reach out at anytime with questions. Thank you!

Relaxing and quiet. The screened porch or back yard were perfect to sit and watch the day go by. The host was excellent, always responding within a few minutes. We definitely would stay again if we go back to the Valley for a vacation.
Our second time staying here and it was as great as the first. So clean, and cozy, everything thought of that you need, and the screened in hot tub is perfect. We’ll be back for sure
It was a wonderful weekend away. We enjoyed the cottage and the Hot Tub. We also chdcked out Bent Ridge Winery for dinner which was a lovely place to enjoy a few hours. Wed for sure stay again!
We were looking for a quiet getaway at the edge of the world, no destracrions, no noise, and that's exactly what we got. Host was very responsive and courteous. We felt very taken care of and they even returned forgotten items to us after we'd left. Room was very clean and there was lots to do to fill the time. Would highly recommend, will be staying again!
My son and I stayed for a weekend. It was a great getaway and the lake was beautiful. It feels very peaceful and quiet and we were able to really relax. The cottage is very comfortable!
My friends and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The property was clean and well kept. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was available. Communications with the property manager were also pleasant.
The house was clean and inviting the moment you walked through the door. The host family was friendly and very helpful. After a day of sightseeing and adventure it was wonderful to come back to the house and relax in the hot tub. It was a great trip.
My husband and I had a great stay. We loved the hot tub and beach. So many friendly neighbours. The bbq grill was awesome, never used one before now I want to get one. Thank you very much.
This place was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. It's not too far from town, but feels like you're on vacation. It was so clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the quietness, and of course the hot tub was a huge perk! We will book there again for sure. Loved it!!
A beautiful property equipped with everything we needed for our week long cottage getaway and time with family! The cottage owners provided lots of detailed information about the property and area and we knew we could easily reach out to them if we had any questions or needed anything. The cottage was a short walk to the waterfront/beach areas and within a reasonable driving distance from popular Annapolis Valley destinations in one direction and Mahone Bay and Lunenburg in the other direction for some sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Really enjoyed our visit.
It was clean, quiet and GREAT for kids !
We travelled with our Grandchildren so when we arrived and saw board games available for the kids was great. But to have access to Disney to relax in the evening with the kids before they went to bed was an added bonus!
Just made the trip more relaxing for us cause it gave the kids down time after adventure filled days and they slept well, while we enjoyed the hot tub later on.
We Highly recommend this cabin.
it’s great when travelling with children and without.
Thank you
The property is lovely. Host is quick to respond and very helpful. Cottage has everything you could need and a few extras. Everything is exactly where you think it should be. Furniture is comfortable. Decor is simple but inviting. Hot tub is small but fit two 6 feet tall people comfortably. The dirt road leading to the cabin was bumpy after the winter and we were grateful we brought the truck instead of my car. I'm sure the road is probably much easier to manage once it's had its yearly maintenance at camping season. We had an amazing, relaxing weekend and would definitely return here in the future.
This is a perfect place for a family getaway. This is how I camp - a cozy little cabin with all of the amenities and then some. Cabin is comfortable and clean with everything you could ask for including a hot tub! The host would respond within minutes with any questions and even drove out to give us coffee when there was none.
The screened in porch was amazing because the mosquitoes were out.
The lake is the warmest lake I have ever been to in Canada. The beach area was perfect for swimming and taking our boat out. The dock was perfect for fishing and everyone caught one!
The only negative is that you drive down a very rough dirt road for ages to get to the cabin.
Every year my hubby and I go away for our anniversary and this year we chose this beautiful, quiet cottage near a lake that we had all to ourselves. This was the first time in 31 yrs we could actually swim in a body of water on our anniversary and so glad it was there. Such a beautiful spot and the hot tub at the cottage with the sparkling lights up above was so romantic. We loved the screened porch for this time of year to keep the buggies away. The whole experience was lovely and so if you are wanting to getaway, this may just be your spot. Melissa was very quick to get back promptly if we had any questions. Thank you Melissa and Dan. We will be back in the future.
The cottage was really lovely - clean, well laid out and with everything we could have needed, including a screened in hot tub! Melissa was especially responsive and responded to our questions right away. Would 100% recommend this lovely cottage and would stay again!
