"Comfortable high quality Service"
Staff took personal time to transfer my luggage to another hotel at no chg. Very attentive and kind. Extremely comfortable and well thought out rooms. Too few choices of food at very high prices and far from town. But easy access to bus w a free pass they provided.

"Fantastic hotel in Avoriaz"
This was our first holiday to Avoriaz although my husband has been skiing in Morzine before. Avoriaz was a short cable car ride and sits above Morzine. We skied very late in the season but Avoriaz still had a really good covering of snow and all the slopes were open. The hotel was a perfect base for our stay in Avoriaz. The hotel was close to the Prodain Express lift, close to the town centre (Les Festival) and perfect for skiing in and out of the door. I would not hesitate to recommend the Hotel des Dromonts (I have already told lots of friends and work colleagues about it) it was pricey but I firmly believe that you get what you pay for and it was simply the best skiing hotel I have ever stayed in.

"A truly excellent hotel"
It's not cheap, but you don't really expect it to be. Having said that, I've stayed in plenty of 5 star luxury hotels , and I have to say that in terms of friendliness of staff, cleanliness of everything, helpfulness all round the hotel could not be faulted at all.

"Martigny, home of the Pierre Gianadda Foundation"
Booked almost by mistake, since it had very few photos on Expedia. Worried because it does not show on Google Earth or in Street View (this is because it only opened end 2015). Arriving there it was a most happy surprise: new, chic, high tech, high quality everything. Easy parking. Elegant lobby, decorated with authentic Roman pieces. Kind and warm reception staff. Lift with security device requiring room key to operate. Each room is dedicated to an artist. Our room was dedicated to Botero: decoration included prints of his paintings and there was a book on his work. Elegant room. Nice bed. Nice lighting fixtures. Nice bathroom with premium fixtures. Power outlets where needed. On top of this a most noble purpose of employing people with disabilities. An experience comfortable for body and soul that we strongly recommend to anyone visiting Martigny.

"Convenient location to visit the Christmas market"
The hotel was over priced and did not justify it's 4 star rating; I've seen 3 star hotels that were much more impressive. The hotel itself was reasonably clean although it obviously needs updating. We had two rooms and one had a renovated bathroom while the other did not and it was a world of difference. The rooms were small but comfortable. Facilities weren't terribly impressive, the fitness centre was rather pathetic. Having said that, its proximity to the train station and the Christmas market definitely made it a very convenient hotel to stay at.

"Perfect lakeside hotel"
The hotel is clean and updated. Our room has a lakeview patio which is just what we expected. The view was breathtaking. The room is white-themed and very modern. The bed is very comfortable and bathroom is spacious too. It's a perfect place to stay for your next vacation.

Pocket Guide: Ski Hotels in Vaudois Alps

    Ski Hotels in Vaudois Alps

If you’re looking for a Vaudois Alps ski hotel for your next winter holiday, you’ll find an extensive range to choose from with Expedia. The main resorts of Villars, Leysin and Les Diablerets are the obvious places to start, with all offering smooth-running infrastructure and the traditional alpine hospitality that Swiss ski holidays are renowned for. It’s worth checking out Vaudois ski hotels in the summer, too, as many are open year-round, providing access to the summer skiing on Les Diablerets glacier as well as to miles of hiking trails and adventure activities like canyoning, mountaineering and rafting.

What Ski Hotels Are Available in the Vaudois Alps?

Ski hotels in the Vaudois Alps are very often timber-built two- and three-star chalets, traditional four- and five-star luxury hotels great facilities, and a handful of more contemporary properties with a streamlined, modern feel. If you’re travelling with family or a group of friends, check the range of accommodation available, as many hotels offer flexible configurations of guest rooms, including standard single or double rooms, suites, triple and quad rooms, rooms with kitchenettes and living areas, or full apartments with separate bedrooms and balconies.

Also check whether your hotel has some of the other extras that will really make a difference to your skiing holiday, such as ski in/ski out access, laundry facilities, equipment hire and storage, and ease of access to the slopes.

What is Vaudois Alps Skiing Like?

To the east of Lake Geneva – whose attractive waterfront towns of Montreaux and Vevey make for an easy side trip – the Vaudois Alps provide beginner and intermediate skiers with some of the finest pistes around. All in all, some 260 miles of ski slopes are in the main three resorts, and other winter sport opportunities are close at hand too. You could easily spend a week trying your hand at curling, ice-skating, tobogganing or snowshoe walking before you even step into any skis.

Whether you’re seeking simple pine-clad rooms, or a more luxurious full-service hotel, search Expedia to find the right Vaudois Alps ski hotel for you.
