The location is good for the ski station and next to the train station. The room have nothing special and there was no sauna and the restaurant was only open for breakfast is it was the end of the season

Rude and agressive staff in a run down hotel
The hotel room was advertised with a kitchen and a double bed. We did not recieve either and were told that none of the rooms at the price we paid had these features. The man at reception did not apologise and did not take resposibility. He blamed both Hotels.com and Swiss Quality and was both agressive and rude - the situation was extremely uncomfortable. The hotel was run down and poorly maintained (for example our sink was blocked). The breakfast was terrible (I hope future guests like boiled eggs and croissants). I would never recommend this hotel. An apology and some humility from the staff for a mistake would have made a big differenc Ultimately, this is a bad, overpriced hotel.

This is an economy hotel and I payed more on Expedia than the rack rate which the front desk clerk told me was 100 chf a night. I didn’t like that! But good location rental shop just down stairs clean good breakfast we got to check out at 4pm for 50chf was a deal.

Very pleasant place and very well located. Walking distance to the train station, center, shops and restaurantes. Friendly staff and nice cafe. Narrow shower and WiFi very poor.

I go to les Diablerets since 1996 and this hotel has not changed a bit since, so it's a old fashion, as far as facilities and furnitures are concerned. Do not expect hipsters to crash there. Personnel was welcoming and conditions were good.

Lovely place. 5 min walk from train station.
Only a 5 min walk from the train station. Greeted by friendly staff with a smile. Our room was bigger than expected on the 1st floor. Balcony was a bonus with great views of the Alps and the village of Les Diablerets. Shower was amazing extra powerful. Wide selection for breakfast ( 10 franc ) self service was delicious. Hotel is well located for all of the local bars and restaurants as well as the free bus shuttle to Glacier 3000 which was the purpouse of our weekend stay. Can highly recommend

Nice stay in Les Diablerets
It was a nice stay at Le Chamois Swiss Quality Hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive and the room was spotless with a comfortable bed. Les Diablerets is very laid back and there is not much going on in the summer. There are some nice hiking trails and it's beautiful out there. I can imagine it being very busy during skiing season. The only small negative was the tiny bathroom and shower, but the water pressure was great, water was hot, and the view from the balcony made more than up for that.

Pretty good value for the price. Spectacular scenery. Make sure, however, to understand the breakfast options, as there is a very small buffet (for extra charge) that is distinct from the coffee/croissant only option that was included in our package. Staff, most of whom were very good English speakers and all of whom were very friendly, seemed confused about conveying this information. Management had to correct our bill, but was unhappy (not sure whether at us or his staff) on checkout.

Nice weekend trip to beautiful Diablerets

Nice hotel, friendly and trustworthy, i was arriving late so the owner stayed up till 1 in the morning to let me in, a few things broke in my room due to wear and tear over the years but they fixed it asap, overall i would go there again

WiFi is sad
The good: Location is nicely located. Bed was really comfortable. The bad: There was a big sign in the front prohibiting skiboots so it was awkward to change shoes in the lobby. The ugly: The WiFi was really terrible; if you were hoping to get some emails done, forget it.

We stayed here 2 years ago and we were happy to stay here again. A very helpful man on reception who spoke fluent English. Very good breakfast. 3 restaurants within 5 minutes walk. 5 minute walk to train station, supermarket next door, ski bus stop opposite which saves a 15 minute walk to the Meillerets chair lift.

Relatively central to all amenities - close to bars, restaurants, shops, ski lifts etc. Staff were nice and friendly but aside from checking in we had limited interaction with them. Rooms were clean and comfortable but basic as was reflected in the cheaper price. A nice basic hotel but nothing particularly memorable about it.

The rooms are a bit old, but they are comfortable and more important, clean. The also have a great view of the mountain. Staff is very friendly and ready to help. It is convenient that it is in front of the bus stop to go to the slopes

Good value hotel for the local ski area
Hotel was perfectly located – on the red bus loop which goes round the village and to the closest two ski lifts, and then it was right by the Coop supermarket and a 5 min walk in ski boots to the train station for the yellow bus to the Glacier. The bar in the hotel is very reasonable and good for playing cards before dinner. We didn’t try the breakfast as was 15 CHF per person per day so we instead got fresh croissants and juice from the Coop each morning. Upsides of room: amazing showers and rooms cleaned each day with fresh towels. Downsides of room: too warm and as the heating was centrally controlled you needed to sometimes open the window at night, which then was quite loud from cars going by. Double bed in our room was quite narrow and the pillows were very thin so we needed to ask for more the next day.

Surprisingly amazing
I stayed in 2 4-star hotels in Switzerland and i was amazed by the beauty of this cozy family managed hotel. It is located in a calm village 10 minures by car to the Glacier / Alps. I would definitely come back to this hotel in the future.

The hotel asked us via email, what time we will arrive. We arrived 2 hours earlier - the hotel entrance was closed. They opened at our predicted arrival time. Instead of waiting we also just could have called the service telephone number that was noted on the front door. So this was not really a problem. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was equipped we a stove,, refrigerator and coffee-maker, all very clean. From the balcony we could see the surrounding mountains.

a pleasant surprise while traveling alone!
Got a last minute deal for a good price while traveling alone across switzerland. I only checked the photo and made sure it was accessible by public transportation. Finally got to this cute hotel after riding a little tram for almost an hour- BEAUTIFUL scenary, it might have been my favorite part of stay in Switzerland. The staffs are very friendly as well. I had issue with wifi in my room but the manager quickly fixed it. Room is clean and moderate. Very nice for the price. There is a coop supermarket right below the hotel. Im glad i chose this hotel otherwise i would have never seen this part of Switzerland! would definitely go back if I ever go back with my loved ones. :)
