Stephan was a perfect host. This hotel is a little gem in a wonderful historic location. Small and quirky. But well worth the visit. Highly recommended.

The owners Stephan and Emmanuele were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was excellent value for 3 star. The walk in shower was easy to operate without having to step over anything to get in and the bathroom and bedroom nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the room light, airey. and very clean. There was everything we needed for a perfect and restful stay in beautiful Avignon. Thank you so much Stephan and Emmanuele. We would recommend you and your lovely hotel to everyone.

What a find! This small boutique hotel is in the heart of old town Avignon and is perfect for exploring the city, dining, and just walking the streets. The owners, Emmanuelle and Stephane, are delightful and VERY informative. The room was exceedingly clean and had a great shower. The beds are very comfortable and the shutters blocked the light and street noise. Absolutely the only downside, in our opinion, is the cost of breakfast. Having said that, it was all home made and delicious, with many choices to choose from. This was an excellent choice for us and we’d stay again, for certain. I should note that we were on a Viking cruise after our stay and the cruise dock is an easy 12 minute walk, downhill with luggage.

Host was very welcoming and offered useful info upon my arrival. Was that way until I left. Very close to the Papal palace and other historic sites. Staying in an old building like this one enhances the ‘ancient’ Avignon experience.

Although we were only at Garlande for one night, it was a delight to stay in such an attractive historical hotel. Emmanuelle was a very welcoming host and saw to all our needs promptly. She provided a local map and recommended some nearby restaurants. She also provided a wonderful breakfast taking care to inquire about any food preferences. We would definitely stay there again.
