"We’ve had five wonderful days in Hægeland. Knapen is a fantastic country estate that’s sure to help you relax. It’s a cozy house with a great mix of modern and historic interiors. The garden offers plenty of space to roam and many areas for dining, relaxing, and activities. Among other things, we explored the lovely Sandland swimming spot, the log flume in Vennesla, the Mineral Park in Evje, and Kristiansand. We’d also like to highlight the excellent and prompt communication with our host,...

Citybox Kristiansand

10/10 Excellent

"Traveling by train, this location is perfect. Easy access to anything in the city, including the train. Staff were friendly and great to work with, and the rooms were wonderful."

Vertikalen

8/10 Good

"The staff were lovely and helpful. The room and bathroom were a good size, though a bit more shelving in the bathroom would be handy for the toiletries. The kettle could do with being on a different tabltor have a longer cable, as you had to either unplug it, or move the cup down to where you could pour. The only other issue, is that the main menu stops at 6 p.m., there are other choices for the next hour, then it closes at 8 p.m. The TV also was problematic, as it gave sound but no picture. Eventually for some reason it actually showed the picture, but it took a good 10 minutes of trying all the buttons, getting annoyed with it and throwing it onto the bed!"
