The indipendent house is surrounded by a well-kept flower garden and a large courtyard and offers guests ample space, comfort and great privacy, making it the ideal structure for fully enjoying a wonderful holiday on Lake Como. The villa is completed by an equipped terrace, ideal for having a drink at sunset or having lunch outdoors while admiring our splendid lake. Access to Candy House is from the private courtyard via an external staircase that crosses the garden and leads directly to the main entrance. The house consists of a large living room, fully equipped eat-in kitchen, two double bedrooms, two complete bathrooms with bathtub. Downstairs there is a private gym at guests disposal further to a small tavern with access to the laundry and boiler room. The private garage completes this beautiful property. Candy House is equipped with every comfort and everything needed for an independent stay: WiFi, TV, A/C, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner. It would be good to have a car because Uber and car share services do not work in Varenna. The taxi service is a little sporadic and expensive. The train station is a long walk as is town. We loved the location of the home and the service that the property management company (Varenna Holidays) provided. There were spots in the home that were not clean when we arrived, such as the side table in the living room and a spot on the floor of the bathroom. The company also likes to make you pay for any little extra thing (such as washing machine fluid, paper towels, any extra cleaning supplies), which is disheartening considering how much we are paying to stay there.
