For the price paid it exceeded expectations but its in desperate need of needing a renovation. Bed prorector horrid. Shower curtain broken lights in bathroom broken. But ive stayed in Rentalmar nany times there all the same.

It ticked most of the boxes for me and my partner, there was tons of restaurants nearby which are very affordable and the hotel is near the centre of salou and all of the main beaches. I would rate the hotel 8/10. Only issue I had which was small but did annoy me very much was upon arrival we were only supplied it half a roll of toilet paper which was on the toilet roll holder in the bathroom which was clearly meant for to do us for our 6 night stay, we ask for some more once it finished and they refused to supply us a roll and told us that we had to go to the shop and buy our own.

What i liked was the pool. Outdoor area and the bar ppol table.. Main ladies toilet had no toilet seat or soap to wash your hands so you had to go up to your apartment.. I think the railings on the balconies are very weak need more support. .It wouldn't take an awful lot to make the apartments better.. A kettle in the rooms would be great . The attractions in the area are excellent. Beaches, nightlife , shops and restaurants ♥️

Great value for the price
This was the 2nd time to stay at salou pacifuc and I honestly have not got any bad comments to make. Check-on could be a big quicker but other than that staff are very helpfull, it is very clean, basic but clean. Some rooms are a bit outdated and others are in good condition. It was somewhere cheap to stay and great value for money. I cannot fault it as I have enjoyed mtself both times and I have already decided to go back next September again.

Good area close to many services.
This apart-hotel is close to the main road with many bars and restaurants. There are numerous supermarkets nearby as well as a couple of Tobacconists. Nice pool although shaded. Room was very basic but clean and comfortable. The bar was not open although the restaurant was. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Whilst the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is tired and dated with very small rooms. Some repairs had been carried out, but were of a very poor standard. The rooms were clean however this does not make up for the hotels bigger issues.

Had a great time. Kids loved it, were happy and had a great time in PortAventura, Ferrari Land, Aquatic Caribe and loved calling RentalMar Salou home! Oh and they're aged 11 and 15!

Horribly rude staff
Words can not capture how bad this place is. We were greeted by rude condescending staff. At one point the receptionist led us to an internet kiosk (where we had to pay a few euros for 1hr internet access so we could show her our reservation), where she slammed the door in our face as we tried to show her our reservation. I've never experienced such unprofessional front desk staff before, ever. At some points they sat behind the desk talking badly about us in Spanish (thinking we only spoke English). I just stood there quietly, never making them aware that I speak fluent Spanish. They basically spent 15 minutes telling us that we are lying about getting a reservation confirmation (even though the confirmation was on my expedia account). In the end a call to upper management seemed to have instructed the front desk to admit us to a room (even thought the front desk just said that they have no more available rooms). It was all like a bad dream; but fortunately after a few DAYS the nightmare ended.

Not very clean.
Two electric rings in room unable to use as they blew electrics when turned on. Reported this 4 times and still did not repair it therefore could not even make a drink. Toilet system worn out and would not flush properly and had to repair ourselves. We paid through Expedia and when we checked in they wanted us to pay again. Car parking is advertised as €12 day they charging €15 which you must have as you cannot park anywhere else as streets are manic. They advertise no towels but they do supply them They ask you to clean place at end of stay as well which is not acceptable.

Great hotel, cheap price tag, fabulous staff.
Wanted a cheap holiday and this hotel was the perfect price. €7 for the bus from Reus to salou. Check in said after 4pm but we arrived at 10am and the lovely Christine sorted everything out and we were in our room within 10 minutes. She was extremely helpful and told us the best places to go. She also gave us a kettle to use and an iron if I needed it. Day 2 we could smell drugs from the adjoining room. Wasn't going to kick up a fuss but then that evening they had a party next door. Asked reception if we could move and Juan had a new room sorted within 25 minutes. Excellent service. The pool looked good but we went to the beach everyday. Room never got cleaned but not sure if that's because we had a room change or not. You have to pay resort tax of €1 a day pp at the hotel which is Catalan tax. Not the hotels fault but be warned. I'd recommend this hotel if you want a cheap hotel and aren't worried about old furniture etc. It was clean when we arrived and we eventually got a great nights sleep. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Don't let the price tag put you off.

Be careful at check-in - Confusion at reception after it was suggested we hadn't paid when we had, hotel would not let us use landline so incurred mobile charges calling hotels.com to confirm payment, a worrisome start we didn't need. We found response not the most positively reassuring when we did provide proof. Generally good staff with multilingual skills, and can provide detailed directions and advice about the area. Apartment rooms have *very* thin walls, and Salou is a party destination to some, so beware - we could hear a mobile phone vibration in next room, and all conversation. Apartment facilities very good, stovetop, fridge etc, balcony. No washing machine. A great place to be based at a good price. For connected folks wi-fi is charged for by ticket machine and expensive. As you go out and about Salou Connecta (?) from the local council provides a daily allowance for free, as do other hotels and restaurants to customers. Well located, Supermarket/cafe opposite and restaurants, short walk to "main" "stretch" of shops and superb, clean family friendly beach.

Great hotel at a great price
Lovely hotel, very close to a beautiful beach and right opposite a supermarket. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave us tips on where to eat, shop and visit. Very close to the main street and there are plenty of pubs/restaurant very close by. The room itself was clean and had everything we needed. It was comfortable for the 3 of us (1 adult, 2 children) although I think 4 may have been a squeeze for sleeping arrangements. Overall I was very happy with the hotel, it was a bargain and we will definitely be booking again

Better than expected!
For a very reasonable place to stay, this was fine...we weren't sure what to expect after reading Tripadvisor reports, but, I believe you get what you pay for. Our studio was very clean, a little tired in places, but the beds were the most comfortable I've had in Spain! The pool area had just enough sunbeds (we always found one) and the pool clean and refreshing! The location is close to the centre (10 mins walk), with plenty of restaurants and shops close by (a supermarket right opposite!) We didn't eat here so can't comment on that, but all in all, great value for a budget hotel!

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The bath was yellow, the floor was dirty, the beds looks unclean, everything was so filthy. I checked in and checked out on the same day! They had the cheek to ask for a £50 deposit and I only got it back if the room was in a nice state. Well it was In a terrible state when I arrived! They make you take your own rubbish out and mop your floors and at reception you can buy sponges and cloths to clean the room. It was outrageous. Never stay here ever. It's the worst hotel I have ever seen.

A bit noisy but ok for couple of days
This apart hotel is a bit noisy with a lots of people hanging out on balconies opposite of you. If you want to relax with the nice view this maybe not the option, if only you don't pick room specially with windows overlooking the pool (and the park same way). Facilities are good for this price, if you need kettle of fan this can be provided from reception. Shower and balcony door lock was broken, but was fixed immediately (in an hour after reporting this to the reception). Underground parking for 12 euro/day is good not to worry about your car.

definitely not going back to this place again
I stayed in this hotel for 5days but really wanted to move out since we arrived!!! The hotel looked very old and run down. Our door was had a hold on it!!!! The kitchenette was so dirty and dysfuction. There were two cooking plates but non of them was working. We complaint and they try to fix it. When we tried to cook somethings again, we can't use any other electrice device and cooked with very low setting. Otherwise, it would blow the fuse. They only provided one pot and one fork for both of us. The air conditioning was very old and did not work properly. Also the television was so small. Everthing in the look was old and the toilets was also dirty. There were mold everywhere in the toilet. The hotel charging for everything eg.leaving the lugguages, useing the safe etc. they asked u to clean the room and remove the rubbish on ur last day. The wi fi only available in the reception area and it was very slow. This place was unsecure as well. We put the lock on the suitcase and someone try to open it!!! The staff seemed helpful and friendly enough. The location was ok. We was not happy with this place at all and definitely will not go back to this place again. I don't recommend this place. The price was no so cheap. This place is not worth spending money at all. I looked around on that area and this place seemed to be the worst. Such a bad luck to pick this place

Good hotel for young people - Bring earplugs!
I picked it coz it was one of the cheapest in a good location. Near a nice beach and entertainment. The mattresses were comfortable but narrow. The room was clean with a few mildew stains in bathroom. Towels were provided but none for the floor so we used one of theirs. Bring an extra towel. The TV was small but the fridge was a decent size. The balcony was big and overlooked the pool. It was noisy because the walls are thin and there was entertainment by the pool. Bring earplugs. Not recommended for families with children. Best suited for under thirties. 4 people can sleep in a room but no privacy. 2 is the recommended number. The AC worked fine! The kitchen was basic and had dirty cutlery. Pool was dirty but can use next hotel's pool. You have to take out your trash and there is no maid service. A broom and dirty mop are provided but no cleaning liquids. They don't change the bedlinens so keep them clean. I enjoyed my stay.

Basic hotel - good value for money
The hotel is a bit run-down but the overall level of cleanliness in my room was good. The rooms are pretty basic with oldish furniture but they do the job if you just need a place to sleep. The mini kitchen is also practical if you don't want to eat out all the time. According to the hotel they have no double beds but you can pull the single beds together. The hotel is conveniently located close to the beach (5 min walk) and to the main restaurant / bar / club street. The pool area is a bit dates but does the job.

Despite all the mixed reviews i had read about this hotel before we travelled to salou i was quite pleasently surprised when i arrived with my family to find the hotel was fine, the staff where extreamly nice and where very helpful with any requests we had (clean towels,clean sheets)although you do need to collect these from the reception but that is fine,there was no issues with noise at night time as the hotel corridors where monitered by a very pleasent Security Gaurd each evening, The rooms where basic but had all that is required for a self catering holiday, there is Air Conditioning ,TV in the room with a couple of English speaking Channels and a 2 ring cooker and Microwave, our Bathroom had a Bath with Shower(quite good always hot water available with good pressure), Family who travelled with us on Holiday and also stayed in this hotel had a walk in Shower in there bathroom(looked recently Modernised) so i would say if requested upon booking you can have a choice! We did not eat in the Hotel as there is a Large selection of Restaurants near by,Wi-fi is available in the Lobby of the Hotel. The hotel is in a good location near to a small quiet beach and about 5mins from the main Salou beach there is a bus stop quite close to the hotel for all pick ups for trips to Portaventura Theme Park/Waterpark or Barcelona City. Overall we where very happy with our choice of hotel for the good Price we payed for our Week in August and would definetly stay here again, Overall this hotel is Basic but ticked all the boxs for what we reqiured on our Family holiday in Salou.

Very dissappointed with the pool area...it was very neglected and could really do with a update. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff i did meet were very friendly and helpful. Not much to do for kids entertainment but overall i enjoyed my holiday. Nice hotel but would prefer more entertainment and update of facilities.

Old hotel that needs to be redone. The smell of mold from the bathroom permeated through the whole apartment. The AC barley worked and the TV did not at all. It's also not that close to anything of interest as one would think.

i loved the location, staff very friendly, caring, fun. over all all of the hotel didnt look very great, but we got used to it and it was fine, Salou is an amazing city, so much to see, if you have children there is porto aventura for little ones.
