The staff were very supportive and I had a very pleasant 5 day stay there. It was close to anything, from groceries to Starbucks and many restaurants and clothes shopping stores. Highly recommended!

It was convenient to have a bar underneath, liquor store underneath. It was a 10-15 minute walk to BC place! Big king size bed for lots of sex!

There was a bug in our room. Floors didn’t appear clean and something on the bedding that looked like marinara sauce.

Our hearts sank when we saw our room, if we had not prepaid we would have just walked away and found another place to stay. Although it photographed well, it was finished poorly and dank. There was a stain on the carpet, dirt on the bathroom floor, the bathroom window pane was broken, the heating did not work. At night it was noisy; the walls and doors were not sound proof by any means. If this location is important to you, it’s fine to stay if you are just looking for a bed to sleep in. In my opinion this would not be a 3 star hotel, it feels more like a hostel with private bathroom.

Place was clean and easy access to major attraction in Vancouver downtown..! Customer shouldn’t be charged $18 per day for parking !! Also, very difficult to get to the parking area as motel and parking not in the same building !!

For an affordable hotel in a major city Moda is excellent value. Modest, but all the needful, clean and bright. Pleasant and helpful staff.

I had stayed at the moda before in one of their studio sweets on a weekday which was really nice. I rebooked in one of their queen suites because of the first stay but the room did not compare… it was pretty noisy and the furniture and bathroom weren’t really up to calibre for the price. Albeit it was okay for one night as I had an early flight in the morning and the location of the moda is close to the sky train. Wouldn’t stay here on a weekend unless you yourself are going out late because it is close to the bars on Granville and would likely be noisy.

We really enjoyed our two-night stay at the Moda Hotel! The room was very clean, and the staff were kind. We found the mattress quite comfortable, and the toiletries smelled wonderful!! Was it noisy outside? Of course - it was the weekend on a busy street! But with earplugs, I had a great sleep. Will return!

In the gray zone between homeless wasteland and nicer downtown Vancouver. Hotel is a bit tired, fourth floor has a funk and while room was a good size was also tired and frankly, money saving efforts by owners have resulted in things like pillow cases that were so synthetic they would survive Armageddon (I used a t shirt as a sleeve /pillow restorer... A few blocked west and maybe a few more dollars would have been worth it. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

The hotel was run down and loud. It didnt feel clean and isn't modernized. Expedia.ca said this room was regular over $300. I expected so much more. Our room looked out to a dirty rooftop area covered with kitchen vents.

Staff was excellent. Our flight was cancelled and left us stranded with no hotel at 10 AM. Staff checked our bags and allowed us to check in as soon as there was a room ready. We had booked the king suite but they changes us to whatever was available first which was fine by us. The property is older so elevators are small as well as the rooms so the doble roo. Wouldn't have been great if we had more than 2 people but was perfect for what we required. Super convenient to see the sites downtown Vancouver as it is located right in the middle of everything. There is some street noise early in the evening so if you want to go to sleep at 7 maybe ask for a room on the interior side of the building. Staff is very helpful and attentive to keeping unauthorized guests out of hotel. In room safes are another added bonus.
