Historic Valencia condo in Poblats Maritims, walk to Malvarrosa Beach
A very special apartment, on the top floor of a house of 1909, in the best area of the beach of Valencia, the Malvarrosa, with bus and tram a few steps and very close to the universities and the fashionable area of the city, the neighborhood of El Cabanyal but without the hassle of having stores and restaurants just below. The sea breeze arrives directly in a clear space next to old stately homes and new luxury apartments, retaining the charm accumulated in a century of existence.
The apartment is located in an old fisherman's house built at the beginning of the 20th century, with a lot of history. During the 20s and 30s, summer resort of the small Valencian bourgeoisie, renovated in 2018, rescuing the old hydraulic tiles for the kitchen, reinforcing and keeping in sight the old beams and taking advantage of the height so that the sloping ceilings can be enjoyed, the terrace facing the sea from which you can see a small part of the beach and also the gardens and courtyards of old manor houses, including that of the botanist Felix Robillard who with his perfume factory gave name to the area and the most famous beach of the city of Valencia.
The walls installed after the integral reform are mobile and you can have all the open space or the closed and fully equipped rooms. The superior rooms are isolated by curtains. The feeling of intimacy is not that of conventional closed rooms but thanks to the careful design of walls and curtains, the traditional partitions are not missed.
The terrace has an awning and a comfortable set of sofas, bench and table, as well as table and chairs for a meal or an outdoor dinner of up to 8 people. It is accessed from the kitchen.
The old, narrow and small access staircase from the street gives way to the diaphanous and spacious floor, with 6 meters high, two levels, with original metal beams that confer a style of ship from the early twentieth century to the first level and the old beams of the roof that hide a thermal insulation of last generation and give rise to two attic rooms with a lot of charm and all the comforts.
There are sofas and mattresses that can be used as beds that would allow the group to be extended to 12 people or more if necessary (see in that case: the expected normal capacity is 8 people).
Powerful air conditioning and duct heating system that keeps the whole house heated at any time of the year.
The large open space, the large table, a small bar and at least 20 chairs and stools (more can be provided on demand) allow you to use the floor as a meeting place and small parties for associations, companies, etc. Always asking for the utmost care, since the floor is very clean and the renovation is new.
I live on the ground floor of the house and take care of the plants, vines and palm trees of a leafy patio that go up to the windows of the upper floor, providing aroma and freshness to its bright kitchen.
I am normally available at home or very close, at the University, which is less than 10 minutes walk.
Air-conditioned accommodation at this condo offers coffee/tea makers and a hairdryer. Rooms open to balconies. Kitchens offer fridges, hobs, microwaves and kitchenware and utensils. Bathrooms include a shower.

Great location!
Two families with a total four adults and four children stayed for several days. Plenty of space for all. It's located about two block from the beach, boardwalk and grocery. There are two bus stops within the block. Very clean and A/C worked very well. Juan is most responsive if you have any questions. We would definitely rebook if ever back in Valencia.
