This is a 3 star hotel at best. Very rude staff. Cleanness is 2 out of 5 as the bed sheets and shower facility were no where close to 4 star rating. Only 2 floors of the hotel is open.

Hotel is in a nice beach town and was good break from Valencia. Its a bit of a haul from Valencia but very local community. We went during off season so hard to find places to eat except in town. Surprisingly restaurants were more pricey than in Valencia.

This property was somewhere we needed to have a good pool & beach access as so hot,hotel is outdated,extremely hard beds & no kettles in rooms,pool towels are 30 Euro each & cash,no charge back to your room & 60 Euro Taxi to Valencia.

The hotel was well located next to the beach and also close to a plaza that has good food options othere than what the hotel has. The pool was great and they had a pool bar with good drink offers but not a full bar. The hotel could use some exterior renovations and some upgrades but other than that out stay was enjoyable.

Great Hotel. The staff were very kind and patient and always available. The place is very clean and so is the area. However the transport to Valencia city can be difficult as there is a coach that doesn’t come often.

This property is spacious and the rooms are big, I stayed in the off season, but you could tell in the summer time you must book early. Large pool and close to the beach, the breakfast is very detailed.

Not so good: - The breakfast quality was not that great. Additionally, they offer the same thing every day so after the second day it became not very appealing Good: - Room was clean and tidy - The room was big and nice, ideal for couples and family Free parking is available on the road. Hotel underground parking is too expensive 11 euro per night - Hotel close to the beach and local pharmacy and market

The room had a strong smoking odor. Eventually we were assigned a new room, but the A/C was broken. Luckily, the hotel handyman was able to fix it. The pillowcases had a weird odor as well, and we had to air them out. The internet was so slow, it was practically useless

Great hotel very close to the beach
Great hotel situated in walking distance to the beach. Clean, a lot of pandemic related measures in place, very reassuring. The wi-fi signal was quite poor in the room, but good in the public areas. Would definitely be back

The Hotel was fantastic really helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was better in the cafeteria.ie.Bar. All in All well priced and would recommend a stay. For family's 5 minutes to the beach with plenty of play areas and fantastic Blue Flag beach. Really enjoyed my stay. Super Markets very close to great prices. Plus petrol station close to as well. Main shops about 15 mins drive near Sagunto plus cinema complex.Recomend to everyone.

Hotel is good, clean
Hotel is 2 minute walk to a great sandy beach and you can walk into the water quite a nice distance. The hotel pool is great, has a staffed bar, great breakfast selection. The hotel is clean and modern, good size room with balcony, free safe in room. The actual town of Canet has nothing to offer as well as the immediate area is basically all low rise condos.

It was absolutely fantastic the room I stayed in was so beautiful, the view of the Mediterranean was priceless, the terrace superb and the total comfort of the hotel, fantastic, was able to rest and rejuvenate, thank you for the best stay in my Spanish vacation!!!!!!

Valencia Remote Stay
Overnight stay in what seems like a resort hotel for the English. Many alternate restaurants nearby. Most powerpoints in room did not work. Airconditioner did not work. Huge bed, but hard.

Family room can not accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids, sofa bed is very small and 2 kids can´t fit in. Flyers in elevators saying what You can´t do there or what You can drink or bring into Your room should be removed or at least graphic can be improved.

Nice beach location. And just that. Not many local
Overall the hotel was nice. Rooms were clean and in good condition. Hotel was very close to the beach and a supermarket. The area however wasn't very tourist friendly, closest transport links were in the next town of Sangut (€10 each way in a taxi). I would suggest the hotel run a shuttle service to the town to make for a more convenient stay. Only reason I wouldn't recommend is because I would recommend a place closer to the actual city of Valencia.After spending a whole day there it was definitely a highlight.

Pretty nice but very loud
Room faced the pool, which we thought was great...at first. Turns out it is incredibly loud and you hear everything all night and all morning long. Our air conditioning also didn't work so it was insanely stuffy. Opening the balcony door meant more noise.

We stayed at this hotel after a few days exploring the city of Valencia and found the relaxing atmosphere just near to the sea wonderfull. Staff were very polite, breakfast good but short of fruit. Not much going on in Canet as it was February but Sagunto had plenty of good eating to offer in the evening. We would have liked to have stayed longer. Canet is a good location for driving inland to explore the National Park areas, easy access along dual carriageway roads.

Pleasant surprise overnight on our way to Barcelon
The quality of the hotel was excellent. We wish we could have stayed longer. The room and bathroom were both large, clean and comfortable. The location had beautiful sand beach within walking distance. The pool was also nice. It was more of a resort.

Nice hotel.
Nice hotel all rooms are large with balconys and pool is great plus the beack is two minutes walk awaywith load of off street parking. Breakfast is good but the evening meal which we had a couple of times not so its perfectly acceptable but not a delight on the lips we also at the Hotel Chispa nearby it was pricey but really good food but there is not a lot of choice of restaurants even less so off season.

the hotel room was very good and the staff on reception were helpful. The Breakfast staff were also helpful too. i know it was early on in the season, march, but the one member of staff waiting on in the cafe part of the hotel for the evening meal at 8 30 (the resturant was shut) was the most unfriendliness and miserable person at the hotel? his attitude was awful, unfriendly and not a happy person?? he would not smile or interact?? but the food was good

We will be back
We chose the AGH Canet hotel because of a previous experience several years ago. The decision to stay again was not a disappointment. We stayed for two nights in mid-October and had a relaxing stay in a spacious, well-equipped facility with good-sized and modern rooms. The breakfast buffet is also amazing with huge a selection of foods! The location is close to Valencia (an easy 25-minute car or train ride) and located within a block of the beach. The town of Canet is also about 5-minutes to the very quaint village of Sagunto (Sagunt). Sagunto is situated at the base of a mountain ridge on top of which there is an immense ancient fortress which covers many centuries of occupiers and inhabitants. The fortress in currently undergoing renovations but can still be explored. This little town is worthy of a few hours of time to explore - not to mention that you can have a pitcher of some of the best homemade sangria at Casa Eugenio (Eugene's House), a small cafe just off the town plaza.

Relaxing Resort
Excellent hotel within walking distance of a lovely beach are the plus sides, on the down side very little English spoken and very little in way of decent eating places nearby. Would definatly need a car if you wanted to explore but if you wanted to get away from the hussle and bussle then this is ideal.
