The lady at the front desk was very nice , and accommodating for our late arrival. The rates for these rooms were very affordable. With being a very remote location my guess is the reason for the old building and rooms. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Rooms were very old and it was very nice to have a couch and tv and dressers etc along with the bed but the couch was stained. Dressers very old. Even though things were out of date I would stay here again. It was quiet. It was clean. The beds were comfy. The staff was friendly.

Very disappointing for a typically reliable chain hotel. This facility was very dirty. The entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. Our room had a broken door frame with rubber gloves stuffed in it. The room doors need painting desperately. The hot water did not work for long in the shower and had many fluctuations in the temperature of the water. Will NOT recommend this facility to anyone.

A heads up that this is one old motel and only moderately well maintained but a new mattress. This affords some flexibility in your stay, and it's pretty inexpensive - $88 tax pet is pricey at $25.

While the hotel is older, it was very clean and tidy. Travelling solo with my dog, I appreciated the friendly staff and the ability to keep my dog with me.

Do NOT stay here! We checked in with our 4.5 month old infant daughter and our room had no heat. We told the front desk attendant and he brought us two space heaters. My husband spent the evening trying to keep the space heaters on but they kept blowing the breakers and he kept having to reset them. We ended up getting up at 4:00 am to leave and hit the road again as our infant daughter was freezing cold and none of us got any sleep. The room smelled like pee and the kitchenette unit had dirt, food and old dog food on the floor from previous occupants and was obviously not cleaned. There was no one to speak to when we checked out so we filed a complaint with Expedia. Save yourself the hassle there are nicer places to stay in Mcbride. Very disgusted! The coffee maker also didn’t work no matter how many plug ins we tried.

Staff was nice and polite when i checked in. Got to my room to find the heat didnt work, there was a portable heater that also didnt work. The bathroom has stains on the ceiling. The room was small and cramped which i didnt mind but for someone with mobility issues it would have been hard to kove around.

The window on the ground level was broken someone could easily break in or we could be violated . Lock on main door to room was a dinky chain lock that did not fit properly so someone could easily break in that way as well . Place was dirty and terrible service !!

The room was quiet and it was clean. The property is old and in need of a refresh. Lights were burned out, and the tub faucet had a significant leak (not a drip, but a continuous trickle). It's not great, but it was cheap.

-liked the coffee n unchlorinated water, reception was somewhat accommodating -The property wasa disgrace. Loud, jarring ill fitting main doors. It stunk to high heaven. Carpet was filthy and worn out. Room AC was ill-fitting and was in the way. Room needed serious upgrades and paint. Sink taps were loose, tub/toilet room was cramped and stunk of rat urine (I have much experience in this department), didnt even attempt a shower. The main front window has been leaking for quite some time and the wallpaper was old, wrinkled and had a dinner plate hole in the wall. TV had very fuzzy interference/ bad connection riddled 12 cable channels. We caught a couple hours sleep and left early. If I didnt prepay for a 'Sandman' room, I wouldve slept in my car. Sandman should be embarrassed and ashamed!
