Charming room with a great little balcony that looks at the Matterhorn. The rooms might be a bit small, but they are quaint and the staff at the hotel are the real reward. The Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful in seeing that you have exactly the stay that you were expecting. Location ...
I spent a week here in March 2018 (my birthday week) and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. From reception to checkout, the people at the Christiana are among the friendliest and warmest people in Zermatt. The receptionist’s name is actually Kcheery (pronounced cheery). The rooms are ...
Modern funky hotel. The whole Genesis themed spa is pretty out there, but at it's heart it's a high quality, new, very well located hotel with excellent service, outstanding breakfast and very good facilities.
This is a wonderful place to stay, and enjoy spa. Excellent spa facilities are included.

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We presume the hotel would be a bit far from the centre of Zermatt for most people (about 15-20 minutes on foot). However, one could either take the shuttle or the e-taxi. For our stay, we did not mind the location as it was a nice walk from the busy town centre. Especially ...
My third stay and still love the apartments. Great for group get-aways. The only issue is it can be a inconvenient if you don't have a car, but it's doable. The access to the thermal baths is the main attraction after a day skiing in Portes du Soleil.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, very functional with good breakfast, restaurant and bar services. There was also an indoor pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and a small gym area which is a plus point. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times.

In a country where relaxing in the spa and sauna is very much a national pastime, it’s a given Valais has plenty of spa hotels. And Valais manages to stand out from the crowd even in Switzerland. With all its fresh mountain air, 300 days of sunshine a year and natural thermal springs, which have been enjoyed by people here all the way back to Roman times and probably beyond, Valais is top of the list for truly special spa hotels.
The famous resort of Leukerbad in the north of Valais is Europe’s largest spa resort. Choose to stay in a Leukerbad spa hotel and you’ll be able to roll out of bed and have a whole town full of spas right on your doorstep. There are 65 natural thermal springs in Leukerbad with water temperatures up to 51 degrees flowing into baths, pools and treatment rooms for your pampering pleasure.
And while Leukerbad is probably the prime destination in Valais for spa lovers, don’t forget the rest of the region. Check out the spa hotels on offer in the main resorts of Verbier, Zermatt, Crans-Montana and Saas and you’ll be able to take your pick from a huge range. Many of Valais’ hotels have saunas, pools, spa baths and in-room treatments – perfect for relaxing tired muscles after a full day of fun on the slopes or hiking trails.
Of course, it’s not just the facilities that make a stay in a spa hotel in Valais so enjoyable. The spectacular natural landscapes and panoramic views surrounding many spa hotels here are second to none. From soaring snow-capped mountains, lush valleys and beautiful forests to mirror-clear lakes and inviting alpine meadows, Valais is a place where taking a deep breath and leaving the stresses of the world behind comes naturally. Many resorts are also car-free, so it’s easy to slow down your pace here and take time for yourself. Pretty much the perfect recipe for a relaxing break.
