Ideal location for ski lift, hire shops, restaurants and bars. Hotel was clean comfortable with excellent buffet breakfast. The jacuzzi and sauna were a bonus. Would definitely recommend for a ski trip to Saas Fee.
Visited 2nd week in april to get the last of the snow. Great hotel. We had a double room which the staff happily did German bedding for us. They even had a birthday treat in my room. Nice stylish but by no means lush, it’s more of an arty hotel. The bathtub and shower are open plan in the room so ...

The Admiral was a new hotel for my Swiss summer walking holiday and it worked out perfectly. The hotel was in a very quiet location in Zermatt but only about a five minute walk from the main train station. It was also beside the river that runs through town which made for some good sleeping.
right next to gondola up the mountain. staff is very helpful. short walk down the hill into town. would stay here again.
Fairly new complex with spacious apartments and dedicated free parking. Access to jacuzzi pools and spa is free for guest of hotel. Ski lifts are only 15-20 mins drive uphill and supermarkets 15-20 mins drive downhill. There is nice restaurant within the complex. We are family of five and we all ...

Valais is one of Switzerland’s most fashionable and popular ski resorts, with thousands of miles of slopes for skiing, snowboarding, freestyle, cross-country, skating, sledding, tobogganing – you name it. For chic mountain restaurants, stylish skiing with the jet set and some top-notch shopping head to car-free Zermatt. For experienced skiers and riders, take on Lachernalp with miles of free skiing and deep snow. Zermatt is great for all levels of skiers. You can ski Kleine Matterhorn’s reds and blues with amazing views of the Matterhorn, or, if you fancy a challenge, enjoy 17 miles of blacks. If you’re just starting out and would rather ski something a little gentler, ease your way in on the 192 miles of beginner slopes at Portes du Soleil or Bellwald.
Does your dream Valais ski hotel involve curling up in front of an open fire with a steaming mug of hot chocolate and just a dash of schnapps? If so, you’ll be able to choose from a great range of traditional and contemporary chalets. If you’re planning a Valais getaway in one of the fashionable resorts with all your friends and family, a well-equipped lodge could be just what you’re looking for. Spa and ski go hand in hand in Valais, so there’s a good collection of ski hotels in Leukerbad, where you can indulge in some well-earned pampering after a day on the slopes.
Booking your room in a Valais ski hotel puts you right on track for a top break in the great outdoors. The skiing and snowboarding are well-known as world class, but don’t miss the chance to see some of the region’s stand out sights, too. Firstly, the iconic Matterhorn is a must. The 13,123-foot mountain is the symbol of Switzerland and where modern alpine climbing and mountaineering was born. Get yourself in the best spot for a couple of selfies with the Matterhorn by taking the cable car up Klein Matterhorn from Zermatt. Also head to the Allalin glacier near Saas Fee, where you can dine in style in the world’s highest revolving restaurant and marvel at the beautiful Ice Pavilion deep inside the glacier.
