Good location close to several restaurants and next to a supermarket. Close to the bus station - easy to get the bus to the Alpin Express. Accommodation is basic but comfortable and was excellent value.
The Ibis Sion Est proved to be a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. It is conveniently placed within easy reach of the motorway and although it took a good 15 minutes to walk into the centre of Sion this was not a problem. Good value for money.
Great, small property just around the corner from restaurants, bars, and activities in Zurich. Rooms are small, but very (modern) efficient, clean, and comfortable--at a very fair price. Nice breakfast--nothing fancy, but perfect for a good start to the day. Plenty of fresh fruit, cheeses, breads, ...
We went for a family pre-Christmas skiing holiday. Fantastic to start the day going downhill and end to the day (mainly) with great sunsets over the Matterhorn. Very friendly staff and a good variety and quality of meals. Comfortable and well appointed room. All in all a great start to ...

Valais is a beautiful region for enjoying the great outdoors. There are more miles of hiking trails for you and your dog to discover than you could wish for and, as long as you keep your dog on a lead around children or near livestock, you’ll be free to roam. Take in the spectacular views of the iconic Matterhorn and over 40 other 13,123-feet-plus peaks. In summer, follow the routes taken by the historical water courses, called bisses, that make farming this land possible. And if you want to go high up into the mountains, your dog will be allowed on most gondolas. For intrepid pet-owners, there are even cross-country ski routes that you and your pet can both enjoy. And when it comes to dinner time, many cafes and restaurants are happy for you to bring your dog in while you dine.
