Great place to stay. Staff very nice and friendly. Room was beautiful and spotless. Only a very short distance from train station.
We stayed for 6 nights bed and breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were good and the spa facilities were great after a days skiing.
I spent a week here in March 2018 (my birthday week) and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. From reception to checkout, the people at the Christiana are among the friendliest and warmest people in Zermatt. The receptionist’s name is actually Kcheery (pronounced cheery). The rooms are ...

Fantastic boutique hotel, steps away from the Matterhorn express cable car, beautiful lounge, outdoor and indoor Jacuzzi/heated pool, tastefully decorated, fantastic rooms
My third stay and still love the apartments. Great for group get-aways. The only issue is it can be a inconvenient if you don't have a car, but it's doable. The access to the thermal baths is the main attraction after a day skiing in Portes du Soleil.
Good access to Sunnega lift and the centre of town. Hotel stylish with older features still present. Modern lift system and pool facilities.
perfect location and the staff was amazing!! The free breakfast every morning was a nice touch...delivered to the room!!
Whether you like to go for an energising swim first thing in the morning, have fun in the water with your kids or lounge by the poolside before taking a quick dip, choosing a hotel with a pool in Valais definitely adds an extra splash of fun to your stay. After you’ve enjoyed skiing or snowboarding your day away out on the slopes, you can stretch and sooth those tired muscles with a relaxing swim. Or if you’re in Valais during the summer months, make the most of staying in Switzerland’s sunniest region by booking your room at a hotel with an outdoor pool.
Valais’s climate is often described as positively Mediterranean, and there are plenty of hotels here that help you make the most of those 300 days of sunshine a year with rooftop, terrace and outdoor pools. Book your room in specialist spa hotel – Leukerbad to the north of Valais is Europe’s largest thermal spa resort. Or pick a luxury boutique hotel surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks. If you’re on staying in Valais with kids, choose a family-friendly hotel with a pool in the children’s paradise of Graechen. Of course, there’s also plenty of accommodation with indoor pool and spa facilities, too, so you can go for a swim whatever the weather.
Skiing and snowboarding are top of the to-do list for many visitors to Valais. With nearly 1,500 miles of slopes that are easily accessible from resorts such as Verbier, Saas Fee, Leukerbad, Zermatt and Crans-Montana, whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, there are few places better to take get out on the piste. While you’re enjoying your hotel with a pool, why not indulge in some other active pastimes too? There are eight great golf courses in Valais with stunning views from the green, then head in for some fine dining and wine tasting, which are also popular. The Rhone Valley vineyards are well worth the trip if you can bear to tear yourself away from your hotel pool in Valais.
