Close to everything, yet just far enough away from the maddening crowd. 3 minutes from the Gornergrat ski-train, and only 1 minute from the Funicular to Sunnegga. They have their own electric in-town taxi that can pick you up right at the train station from Tasch. Staff was VERY helpful.

I’ve been to Perren on multiple occasions. Great experience as always. But there are 2 things that I wish would return back to how they were: 1) The open-plan ski room was better: the lockers do not any value since they do not have a lock but just take space. It is very inconvenient to put a snowboard in. 2) Breakfast was better before. I really liked the selection of dried meats and an option to make soft-boiled eggs which are now gone. The selection of tees improved.

We are very sorry that we could not completely satisfy you.We are also sorry that you were not satisfied with the new organization in the ski cellar, as we had hoped for a tidier ski room and increased comfort for our guests. We apologize that your snowboard did not find a place in the locker. Amazing view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. Walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. Very convenient walk to the train station, downtown, restaurants, activities. The staff was amazing. The breakfast buffet was also great. Would highly recommend.

Location location location
Couldn't be more conveniently located, having a view of the Matterhorn from our balcony was the cherry on top. Great breakfast buffet and overall a great stay. Will choose it again if we ever have the luck to come back

They did not offer the body lotion even the area is very dry, the humidity is law. This was the only area I am not satisfied.

Friendly staff happy to provide good clear advice. Excellent location close to shops and walking distance from the centre. Excellent breakfast with great coffee options. Room was spacious too. The only issue for some might be the shower/bath which is a bit high to climb into. The sauna was a bonus and a bit of fun too. Very friendly and comfortable stay.

The property was very clean and quiet. The bed was super comfy. Lots of hot water and good shower pressure. We could walk to two of the lifts for some alpine hiking. We had a wonderful stay here.

Great stay four nights at this hotel. Large room that felt like a place one wanted to be (rare for a hotel room!) including Matterhorn-view balcony. Honor bar for late night (or anytime) drinks, snacks. Easy walk from station despite too much luggage. Incredibly helpful front desk staaff with detailed suggestions on where to walk and pros and cons of various options. Would go out of my way to stay there again if in Zermatt.

This hotel offers the best you could have in Zermatt. Room itself is in perfect condition, very spacious and had a large bathtub. I cannot mention enough about the view of course. I watched the sunrise which shines on the Mattehorn from the balcony. Breakfast menu is simple but had all the essentials. Staff were very kind. Did not have much time to use Spa. It was the best choice I had during the trip.

Ask the hotel counter for borrowing plug/adaptor- the answer is “No”. Laundry self service mentioned in facilities but actually “No”. In this summer period, it is unbelievable for no small refrigerator/ freezer in the room to store cold drinks.

Amazing Hotel
Amazing hotel! Right next to the river so you have the option to enjoy the sound all night if you wish. Comfortable and clean. Offered a cheap upgrade upon arrival and massage services are offered on site. If I return to Zermatt, I will be staying here again!
